I've tried other brands and this is the best... Let me tell you why... It has A MUCH finer grind than all the others. I actually didn't know there was anything wrong with the previous Brands I bought because all of them were the same, very grainy. I figured that was just the normal characteristic of coconut flour. When I opened this I was pleasantly surprised because it's lighter in color, fluffier, and smooth like normal flour. That was unexpected.I can't remember all the brands I tried but two of them are Terrasoul and Better Body Foods (commonly found at Walmart). I bought the terrasoul because it was the least expensive option at the time for a small amount 5 lb or less. Then I bought this because I got it for about $1.54 per pound with my subscribe and Save Discount for a 25 lb bag.I have now set aside all of the remaining coconut flour from my other brands and will only use those where a smooth texture is not as important. I'm super happy that smooth coconut flour exists and buying the 25 lb bag is the most cost-effective option I have found. Since coconut flour does not go rancid and does not have to be kept in the freezer, I'm okay with buying 25 lb, even though it will probably last me many years (you only use 1/4 to 1/3 the amount of coconut flour when replacing other flours.) There is a large learning curve to using coconut flour, but I have to wonder if the learning curve would have been much easier had I started with this brand of flour. I won't even bother trying any other brands because I don't want to go back to grainy sand instead of smooth flour. If you've tried other brands and they are gritty and grainy, try this one and see if you don't like it much better. Beats out other brands in my opinion.

I ordered Nutiva Organic Coconut Flour, 3 lb, and so glad I did. I am trying to go organic, GMO Free, and gluten free so I decided that I needed to order coconut flour.The first thing I made with it was tortilla shells. They turned out great!Then I made meatloaf using the coconut flour instead of bread or crackers. Best meatloaf I ever made. Best meatloaf I have ever eaten!Then off to make mini cupcakes and some cookies! I am very please with this coconut flour. Bought this to add to my dogs raw food diet, i needed a xtra healthy fat due to their high activity they run on almost 2 acres, a good digestible fat, good plant protein that also serves as a prebiotic, and very digestible.

This is a fantastic product at an unbeatable price. This is pure, 100% ground organic coconut, with nothing else. I could smell that lovely coconut aroma before I even slit open the bag. We were previously buying  Bob's Red Mill Organic Coconut Flour, 16-Ounce Units (Pack of 4) , which works out to about $4/lb. Buying this bulk bag is like getting 50% off! We have a Prime membership, but opted for the slower shipping option, to take advantage of a $3 promo code to apply to a future video order. Even so, the order shipped right away, and we received it in two business days. The outer brown bag is very sturdy, and showed no signs of damage. Underneath is a very thick, plastic inner bag, so no worries about any tears.Between our Paleo baking needs and making Paleo "oatmeal/porridge", we go through about two pounds of coconut flour a month. I immediately measured out the entire bag into zip-top quart-size freezer bags, and stashed the extras in our deep freezer, where we keep all of our Paleo pantry items, including nuts, nut flours, and starches. Unlike almond flour, coconut flour doesn't create unmanageable, large, hard clumps when frozen. We regularly use coconut flour straight from the freezer.
