I've been swimming for a while now and never owned a pair of paddles, see many in the club use them but not myself. I decided to take the plunge and order a set up as I seem to have hit a plateau with training speeds and I'm hoping this will help.They are made from a hard plastic which is a nice bright blue colour. There is 3 bands of attachment if you will per paddle, one for middle finger then the other two cover the fingers adjacent. The paddle itself is slightly moulded to accept the shape of a hand which is a really nice feature.I have an average male size hand and I'd say they fit well for me.

Handy swim aids. When being used it makes the swimming action more harder but in a good way.It makes you hold the hand in the correct position for front crawl for example.They fit tightly, and don’t feel to heavy on the hand.Perfect addition to a training programme

These hand swimming paddles are a simple, basic swimming tool that increase speed by helping your hands push through the water. When my stroke technique was correct, I really noticed the extra speed. Conversely, they provided a natural technique correction because the paddles felt like they were not working or the fit seemed off. This prompted me to change my stroke. The fit is versatile; they worked for both my husband who has larger hands and me.They are a hard formed plastic with silicone straps. The straps are adjustable and somewhat easy to adjust.Another use was to hold them above the water and push down flat for resistance then to move my hands back-and-forth in the water to work, my arm muscles, using the water, again, for increased resistance.Considering these benefits, and the low price, the value is fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Very comfortable and do the job when practicing certain strokes. My kids liked the finger loop support vs. just a wide strap. It made them feel more securely on. They've only used them a handful of times so I plan on updating the review on their longevity.
