Perfect Replacement for our worn out pan
Purchased this as a replacement for a pan we had for 20 years. Easy to clean and is the perfect size. The rack has handles on it that you can fold out of the way if you dont want to use them, which is a nice feature. We use this for baking bacon in the oven and the racks tines are spaced a little too far apart so the bacon will sometimes fall down in between the tines, which make it difficult to remove the bacon. I have used this pan at least 50 times now and it still looks like new.

Great roaster, good included rack
Advertised as "Extra Large," I found the pan to be comfortable for a 14-16lb turkey. You can roast two chickens side-by-side in this. The construction is excellent, and the riveted handles seem to be very durable. MINOR complaints are that the folded corners of the pan may catch/tear potholders, sleeves etc. very easily. Would prefer rounded edges. And I wish the included rack were V-shaped - a nitpick easily solved by cooking poultry on potatoes, onions, whatever. As I will mostly use the pan for poultry, the included rack may not see much action.Great construction, great size, take or leave the included rack. Definitely recommended for the price.

Great, versatile pan
This roasting pan is definitely a step up the the supermarket baking aisle pans. The included rack is helpful and the rack even has fold-down handles.I've had Chicago Metallic pans for years and it seems that the newer ones might be a thinner gauge metal than the older ones, but they'd probably jump on here and say they haven't changed the pans since the company was founded. Regardless, this is a dependable pan that will last for a LONG time if you don't use metal utensils on the non-stick coating.

This thing is AWESOME. It is very big
This thing is AWESOME. It is very big. I can cook a whole week's worth of healthy food in my oven broiler with it, grilled meat and veggies, just by putting the meat up top on the grill, and the veggies down below in the pan. Clean up is easy enough, and takes pretty much zero elbow grease. The non stick coating has yet to scuff off after a few months of service. I did have to bend the pan inward a bit to get it to fit right in the oven, but whatever. Word to the wise: if you use my method, be sure to drain all the liquid off the veggies before storing them. Bacteria from the meat drippings will otherwise render your veggies quite fermented by the week's end.

Not a good roasting pan
i needed a large non-stick roasting pan to roast vegetables & potatoes.this was just large enough (it was the largest non-stick pan I could find), and that's what i use it for -- i wouldn't use it for anything else, nor would i recommend it for anything else.I've used it maybe 12 times ..the good - so far the non-stick surface seems to be very good, which is one feature i really needed .. time will tell how durable it isUPDATE # 2: I have now used this pan around 5 more times and have decided to simply throw it out .. the coating has come off along the inside bottom edges, it is rusting all over the place, etc etc .. in short this is a useless product .. do not buy it !!UPDATE: Avoid buying this pan if at all possible .. It's now the end of Dec, 2012, and maybe I've used this pan 12 more times .. so now the non-stick finish is wearing off in spots, and since the pan is steel, it rusts if not wiped dry right after washing .. and the food is starting to stick in places where the non-stick surface has not worn off yet .. I would return it under warranty, but what for?? the replacement would be just as miserably made.. its obvious this company does not make decent products anymorethe bad .. the construction is flimsy, and the gauge of metal used needs to be at least 50%, if not 100%, thicker; the handles wobble in and out when there's something in the pan because they are attached at only two points (rather than 3) - i would not be surprised if they twisted out of the pan completely if there was something heavy in it - like a turkey (I would never advise using this to cook a turkey or anything at all heavy); the pan buckles and deforms in oven heat; the folded corners are not sealed, so they wick up a tiny amount of the olive oil I use when roasting my vegetables -- after the pan is cleaned and stored, this then falls to the bottom of the pan in the corners, so you have to dab it up to clean the pan completely (if you don't, the oil will turn rancid over time).see Update above -- do not buy this pan .. so if you need a large non-stick roasting pan to roast vegetables & potatoes (or equiv), this is just OK .. it will just work

Excellent set for the oven
The roaster has easy to use handles on the sides. The depth of the pan fits everything we use in the oven. The rack has handles that can be used up or folded under. The rack is non-stick, but works even better with a light coat of oil before putting food on it for the oven.We put a light coat of oil on the bottom of the pan, too. It has discolored a bit from various things dripping onto it. But it cleaned fine, so any color changes were insignificant to its use.Having tried several others including a rack on a sheet pan, this set is by far the best. We have cooked large chicken pieces and oven bacon on it. Mostly it is used for roasted vegetables.

Deep Enough to Hold all the fat drippings
I slow cook ribs in the oven maybe once a month and had been using my broiler pan. Unfortunately, the broiler pan wasn't deep enough and the fat slopped over the edges when I tried to take the pan out of the oven. I looked around in stores and really couldn't find anything. This is perfect. It's the larger of the two pans I saw, but plenty deep enough to hold all the grease and the handles on both the bottom pan and the rack insert make it a breeze to maneuver in and out of the oven.
