I do a lot of resin 3D printing and clean with IPA 99%. It smells pretty bad especially mixed with resin and is a pain to deal with once dirty.Thought I would give this detergent a go, it is a little more expensive than IPA but smells better and does a really good job of cleaning.Only thing I am not sure about yet is what to do with it when it is dirty, going to have to find out pretty soon!

I used this to clean a part printed in high temperature resin because I'd seen reviews saying that the resin was particularly hard to clean and it did a very good job, I allowed it to sit several minutes, agitated it and then rinsed with water and the result was great, no residual stickiness no apparent discolouration (this was on grey resin), no softening. It's low odour so no complaints there.The price is significantly more that a similar amount of IPA though, this is certainly justifiable if you've had problems cleaning certain resins, it's also justifiable if the product is safer in use, the product is claimed to be non-flammable (I haven't tested myself!) that's a safety advantage over IPA although it's low evaporation rate is a two edged sword as it means you have to allow more drying time before curing. However, while the Amazon listing says "it poses no irritation or adverse reactions to the skin" the label carries safety warnings saying any contact with the skin should be washed for at least 15 minutes which seems excessive if the product is that benign (though to be fair thoroughly washing any skin that may have come into contact with resin is advisable anyway).Overall it seems to do the job well considering the extra cost I'd say certainly worth trying if IPA doesn't meet your needs.

Ordered this to try compared to IPA for cleaning resin models. The item arrived well packaged in a strong sturdy cardboard box and was zip tied in a heavy duty poly bag to protect the 5ltr container. The product has a slightly less strong odour than normal IPA but if not in a ventilated area, you will notice it. I washed a couple of figurines that I had resin printed and the results after the cleaning cycle were noticeably better than with standard IPA. As I have an Mercury XS cleaning station, 5ltr is a little short to wash items while still attached to the build plate, so I removed them and fully immersed them. Drying times are on a par with standard IPA, but the main thing was no loss of detail or "bloom" left on the model. The product is excellent, however the price break means that for larger wash stations, it will cost almost triple the amount compared to normal IPA for cleaning. Would I recommend? - yes, and I will look at filtering/cleaning it in sunlight once it gets heavily contaminated, but the cost is a little steep for normal use. A- /B+
