We are definitely coffee drinkers and they is a big difference between freshly opened coffee and then the same coffee beans 2 weeks later. It's ready to think there's isn't much of a difference until we buy another bag of fresh beans and open them. Ugh, then we realize just got important it is to keep the beans from oxidation. This is why we got this vacuum seal container and it's definitely extended the freshness of the coffee beans. The container is stainless steel and easy to clean or wipe out with a paper towel before adding fresh beans each time. It holds about 4 cups of beans and it's about the size of a quart jar. The top vacuum pump is easy to use and it only takes about 15-20 pumps to get all the air out. It looks great and perfectly compliments the coffee decor.

It is light compared to my other vacuum canister, which is made of glass. It is easy to operate. Though I am not aware how well the air is sucked out, I can realize the status by trying to open the lid after several pumps. I cannot remove the lid, so I believe the outside pressure is higher than the inside one. I usually don't read the manual, which I regret. I am used to washing everything before the first use. That's why the issue arose. I should not rinse or wash the lid according to the instructions. It took me quite some time to eliminate any potential water drops within the small holes. Though I still don't know whether there is still water in it. At least, it works very well now.

I'm able to keep my coffee beans vacuum sealed next to my coffee maker to pour in every morning. It is easy to open and easy to vacuum seal. Holds several days worth of beans!

I really like the look of this! As the other reviewer says, it is nice to open this up and smell the coffee as if you just opened it up from a bag, or just grounded it.A big plus for me is that I really appreciate it when a seller provides their contact information so if there's an issue you don't have to search for contact information to try to solve an issue.

I love this vacuum seal cannister. They work great for taking air out and extending the shelf life of things! Love being able to see inside (a clear strip) to see whats inside and easy to use too.
