Perfect for any dad, the engraving looks beautiful on the matte black mug. Mug is well-built, engraving is deep enough to not wear down easily, and the lip of the mug/interior is a nice polished look that complements the matte black of the rest of the mug. Plus, it's officially licensed!

I got this cup for my father in law and I think he'll love it. Both the cup and the engraving seem to be really good quality. I might end up getting one for my husband too.

I came well packed and looks really nice. The engraving is deep enough and the white fill gives good coverage. I cannot wait to give it to my dad for Father's day. He has many Red Wing mugs and I think he'll enjoy this one too.

Nothing fancy about the mug itself. Glossy black on the inside, flat black on the outside, with a precision engraved NHL team logo. An engraved logo is a lot nicer than a graphic because it won't wear off over time/washing.I took away one star only because the "#1 DAD" engraving uses a pretty boring font. Would also be neat if these were available in other color mugs to match team colors.It's dishwasher safe, and cleans easily, though I noticed the white engraving has lost some of its brightness after 3 weeks worth of washes.It's definitely worth buying as a gift for a dad who loves the hockey.

As a huge BlueJackets fan, this mug was PERFECT!I like coffee, but don't drink a ton of it. This is as much of a fan gift as a practical mug for me, but I'm happy that it works well for both.Graphics:The graphics are nicely and cleanly printed and the mug has an elegant, upscale look to it.Size:Perfect size for a morning cup of joe, but not overwhelmingly huge like some novelty cups.Durability:Everything seems to be very well made. The cup has a nice weight to it so it won't tip over easily or break easily.Overall, I'm super happy with this mug. It's classy and functional!

This is an awesome cup! When I first got it I thought it was a little bit cheap because it feels thinner than my favorite cups, but upon closer inspection and use, I've really come to love it. The first thing that stands out to me is the etching. This is not a sticker or paint; it's literally the logo and caption engraved into the mug, and it looks incredible! Never worry about it fading/falling off, which is awesome.As far as the thickness of the cup, my biggest concern was with heat retention. Surprisingly (to me), this cup is thinner than some of my other favorite mugs but it seems to hold heat just as well. It's also got a good capacity, so you can have no fear that a proper sized cup of coffee will stay hot long enough to drink it. Definitely a good option for a gift for someone else (or yourself!).
