I bought this hidden camera built into a phone charger. Great idea.The Good - A couple of good things about this device. The video quality is good. (Even the low light video). Sound was poor - like the majority of these cameras, but it is not big issue. It was fairly straightforward to setup. The application is okay.The Bad - and the Bad is very Bad... First - the device gets very hot. When charging my iPhone 15, the phone actually shuts down charging because the charger makes the phone get too hot to charge. So - as a charger - it makes the phone hot and may potentially damage the phone. Second - the video format of video. The camera uses some strange, proprietary algorithm for storing video. It can be viewed with any standard video viewer (VLC, etc.). The SIM card cannot simply be removed and put in a card reader and the video files viewed. The files can be downloaded on your phone - but they are stored in the proprietary .H264 format. To their credit, I did get an answer for the manufacturer when I wrote them. Their answer was a proprietary Chinese ap that only ran under Windows. I don't have a Windows machine - but use iOS or Unix machines. Again - they replied, but their answer for this scenario was extremely convoluted and totally unworkable. Therefore, I can only view video from this camera on my phone using their ap. This is not a usable method for storing and viewing video.The device had potential, but it cannot be used as a phone charger or as a camera that has usable, portable video output. Therefore, I am rating it a one.
