I had no idea that such a glove existed, but I though I'd order one to see if it would improve my pathetic attempts at playing snooker.No, it didn't improve my game – only practice will do that – but it did make using the cue a lot easier. There are two reasons for the improved cue control. First, the fabric is very light and smooth, so the cue slides effortlessly over it. There is no tacky skin to create friction that could easily marginally deflect the cue, leading to an inaccurate shot. Second. there is a rubber pad on the outer palm side of the glove that helps prevent your hand from moving whilst resting on the baize.The glove is pleasant to wear, and didn't make my hand sweat as I had feared it would.For the inexperience player like myself, the glove probably isn't the best investment, but for a more practiced player, it may well raise you game by just enough to make a difference.
