KEEN Men's Wk400 Performance Breathable Walking Shoes

It fits my foot perfectly. There is no toe pressure nor does the heel cup permit any up and down movement. It supports my foot perfectly when on irregular terrain. The insole nicely cushions the foot and the heel cushion has a noticeable rebound to help push my feet along. It has a large strap on the back of the heel to assist with putting the shoes on. I also have a pair of Hoka Bondi 8s. They are clunky and awkward to wear. The upward slope of the heel is so pronounced that it is hard to stand still in them. Also, the color is atrocious. The Hoka Wk400 is the direct opposite.

I have a foot injury and have suffered chronic pain for the last 15 years. Sketchers were the only shoes that gave me pain-free use. I bought over 50 pairs of Shape-ups when they stopped making them 12 years ago after the Joe Montana advertising litigation, but now running low on my inventory! Have tried every new rocker bottom or curve shoe made but these Keen WK 400's are the first shoe I have found as good as if not better than the ole Sketchers. Super comfortable, not heavy or clunky like some competitors & seem durable - have put over 100 miles on my first pair walking my dogs and golfing in the first month and they are holding up great. The shoe is very comfortable and light weight, I was impressed more than I expected to be. I like the curve of the soul and how it assists in keeping me moving. I have quite a few issues with my back and hips, and these are really great for pressure relief. The top material provides a snug fit while still flexible and soft, great for lengthy wear times. The interior arch support is defined and also important for longer wear, another impressive design. I so want to give this the awesome star review it should have.However, the sad part and reason for 3 stars, after minimal use (maybe 10 walks) the sole started to separate. The bottom layer (the black gripping part beneath the yellow) came loose during a walk, and by the hour was peeling back considerably. I checked the other shoe when I got home, and it also was starting to peel back. I have used shoe-goop glue and will get more use, but I do expect other parts to degrade much too soon.

Very uncomfortable. The toe box is much smaller than a normal KEEN. The shoe itself is extremely awkward to walk in and it throws off my balance. The bend in the shoe that is supposed to help with spring back and movement is right under the arch of my foot causing all my weight to rest on my arches. That's obnoxious and starts to hurt after a few minutes. Most definitely a KEEN FAIL! I am bummed. I was excited for this shoe. Now I am returning it.

Bought for my husband due to his leg and foot issues. He had a pair like this a long time ago but we couldn't find anything like them anywhere again. Finally did another search and found this brand. He really likes these. Comfortable. Quality is very nice. They're not heavy and are very stylish.Remember, being leather these have to be broken in, at least a little bit because they're stiff. Plus they have a rocker bottom and if you're not used to this it's a different feel when walking in them, makes you work a little bit. Give them a try.

It was a gift for my husband who started walking again for his health. We were happy that it fits even if he has wide feet (his size is 9.5 and ordered same size). The very disappointing part is the VERY STRONG chemical smell. Not sure if it's ever gonna come off but it's been a week today that we've been airing it out - the smell is still there. The first day we left it outside the box in the basement and the whole room smelled like chemical the next day. Obvious to say, we took it outside in the open to air out under the sun - no change in the smell. Don't want to wash it since it's brand new so it's probably going back. I own several shoes in this brand and never had this issue. What's going on?

I work at a gas station and standing on concrete all day really starts to hurt your feet, these things saved my feet, they are really comfortable. Compared to my old shoes its like walking on a cloud
