Slow Aging Phyto Collagen Cream, Plant-Based Collagen, Night Cream, 1.69 fl. oz

I have very dry skin that is also quite sensitive. It tends to become dehydrated and rough very easily and once that happens, I have a hard time finding a skin care product that will help but not cause irritation. I was interested in this recovery cream not only to target my dry skin and help with the texture, but also because it is supposed to be effective on crepey skin. Of course, this is designed as a facial cream, but I have crepey skin on my lower arms and I wanted to see if this might help. This light-green colored cream has a light consistency with a slightly oily appearance. It goes on my skin easily, is absorbed very quickly and there is no greasy or oily residue. It leaves my skin feeling very well hydrated and smooth and the effects last through the day (I use this in the morning). I only need to use a small amount (probably a dollop that is about half of the size of a dime) to cover my face and neck. I've applied it to my forearms a couple of times as well, and it does seem to help with the crepey appearance, at least temporarily. But it really isn't any more effective on my crepey skin than several other less expensive products I have tried (thank goodness, because I sure wouldn't want to buy something this pricey to use on my arms on a regular basis -- the tube would be gone in a week! However, this is perfect of using on my face and it causes no redness or irritation. The current price of $29.99 for 1.69 ounces is kind of expensive, but I don't need to use a lot and it is very effective on my skin, so I think it is worth it.

...I beg to differ.First let me say I really like this as an after shower moisturizer.Where I beg to differ is, to me, this feels almost as rich as a NIGHT time moisturizer, not light.I use about a pea size dollop for my medium sized mans face and neck, and I tend towards dry skin.The hole that this dispenses from is very close in size to the hole in a standard tube of toothpaste, so be mindful when you squeeze that tube.Ever on the hunt to find something to tone down redness that happens after a workout or a stress out, I didn't so much notice a red minimizing effect from this one (either).It even has a slight bit of green tint to it, which, as you know, can offset the appearance of red skin. Maybe it did for mine, but it was so minimal that I couldn't tell.Whatever.I like this stuff and it will be in my gym/shower bag.I'd like it even better if it had a flip cap; maybe I can find one around here and swap out the cap.....It *might* have a scent, but if so, it is so subtle, that I can't smell it, which is fine with me; I either want to go "all in" with a full line of something that is fragrance matched, or something like this that allows you to use your own fragrance without this interfering or setting off a sneeze fest.Nice product; glad I ordered it.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

I chose this moisturizer because it specifically said it helps crepey skin. We'll have to wait and see, but if it does, it probably deserves another star. Meanwhile, it does arrive with a seal and in a sealed box. I prefer pots. It's a thin, pale green-oatmeal lotion (the color of the tube). I did not notice any scent. It takes a little time to settle, but I think that makes it good for under makeup. A lot of moisturizers increasingly make the skin almost oily after enough time, so I kind of like starting out with something a little tackier or drier if I plan on wearing makeup. I think this tightened the skin in a good way. Maybe it's more accurate to say it shrunk pores? I'm not sure because I'm just learning and my pores are already pretty small, but my skin felt a bit tighter and looked smoother. I can imagine this might be how it improves crepey skin. The price is not bad. This tube should last awhile. I think it's a solid choice, but failing to make much of an impression so far, I can only say I'm neutral until long-term results are in.

My skin feels Instantly hydrated and nourished when applied! The serum has a creamy consistency that is rich and hydrating. The cream is on the thicker side. It feels moist and lightweight on though. It absorbs quickly and well. After patting on the face, my skin feels instantly moisturized and nourished. It works well for on my dry flaky sensitive skin.
