Alfabeto (Portuguese) Board book – January 1, 2015

This book had everything to be 5 stars. It has good pictures and well structured. But 3 times there was names instead of objects (Kevin, Wilson & Yasmin) and the reason I will return is because of this photo. It’s cute and all but not a good influence for a 2 year old. The recommended age is 1-3 years old and during these years children can’t discern what is right or wrong without an influence. And unfortunately this book will influence him to inappropriate affection. Why not a picture of a mommy kissing her child cheeks or a kiss on the forehead? Why did it had to be an “ almost kiss” on the mouth especially with a child you can’t tell it’s a boy or girl?

Comprei este livro para utilizar como recurso visual para minhas crianças de educação infantil bilíngue (Inglês e Protugues). As crianças amaram!!! As figuras são lindas e a seleção de palavras/imagens são próximas ao imaginário infantil.Minhas crianças que não falam Português ficaram encantadas em ouvir os amigos falando as palavras em Português. Um excelente recurso para qualquer idade que esteja começando a aprender o Português

This item will be in a different language depending on the variation you choose. I was searching for Portuguese/English children's books and found this in paperback. I noticed an option for a board book, clicked on that and purchased. When it arrived I realized it was in Spanish and, of course, the title for the listing was now in Spanish. Obviously I need to pay closer attention next time before I purchase, but just in case someone else is in a hurry; make sure you double check as variations do not necessarily mean they are going to be the same item! 5 stars because really it was exactly as advertised and in great condition.

I bought this book for my 2-year-old granddaughter, since she is growing up bilingual (her father's heritage goes back to Brasil). Per my daughter, my granddaughter **totally** loves this book and frequently picks it up. I took a look through it soon after receiving it, and am thinking of buying another copy to keep here at my house. Smile.

This little book is really well made and has nice bright Real pictures of things for each letter of the alphabet (about three things per letter). My 13 month old baby-boy recognizes many of the images and likes to point at the pictures and babble. We also play "mommy asks where it is and baby points" with it. Totally worth it!Note: I'm a Brazilian mommy and speak to my baby in Portuguese, while daddy speaks to him in English.

Bought this as a gift for my 3 year old host kid. I like it a lot for the purpose of teaching him some portuguese words, although I think it could’ve been more complete. Also bought the animals one.

Great book for parents like me who are trying to help their kids learn Portuguese. Hope they come out with other books with different words.

Das Buch hat mir sehr gut gefallen und ich kann es nur empfehlen, das Kind lernt, indem es mit dem Buch spielt. Ich werde gerne andere Bücher kaufen.
