Heavy Vinyl: Riot on the Radio

I came for the diversity, women being badass, and the gay. Cause I'm shallow like that and love me some new, not overdone storyline. I was not disappointed. 😆

From the 11-year-old reader: I totally wish that these girls were real. Five friends set out to find a missing person from a band. They researched for information on why this woman had gone missing. They found clues that led them to a new area. They found her and brought her back to her band. It's awesome that most of the characters are girls. They're smart, courageous and a little comedic.

This was such a good book! I didnt expect it to be so fun and bright and also GAY! I am so happy that I purchased this book. I originally purchased a physical copy and bought this after the physical. Im gifting the physical copy to my sister. ❤

This is a really cute graphic novel set in the 90's. Chris is the new girl at work, Vinyl Destination. She still doesn't know who she thinks she is & feels like expanding her musical taste will help her figure it out. She works at the record store with Mags, D aka Dolores, Kennedy, & store manager, Irene.

I enjoyed the artwork and the nostalgic feeling it gave me. Plus I liked the characters (and their designs!) And the story even if it was a little silly at times.

Great music references and great art. Good story but dialogue could be better

I didn’t know what was this about but I like the characters. Is not a great plot but, is definitely entertaining.

Got serious Scott Pilgrim vibes from this, the pacing and dialogue is fast, witty and really funny. This is also hella queer which is ALWAYS appreciated. I will be getting the next volumes of this!

This is my first graphic novel i have read and i loved it!

One of the best I've read in ages. So inclusive, so funny, such a brilliant storyline and truly relatable to all the 90' kids out there. Genius!
