I originally purchased these to use as a decoration for my toddler's farm themed party. We placed one on every table so the children could have something to touch and feel while waiting for the next activity. My toddler is also a sensory seeker, so these were perfect for him to rub when the party became a little too overwhelming. Since the party both of my children have used these and played with them and they have become a favorite toy around the house. The touch is very "realistic" for a child and just enough to help my child with sensory needs. I am going to be ordering more to have in my car.

These sensory mats are mostly great. They are all super cute and have a variety of textures. The quality is decent for all, but the earth one. The earth one has some sort of turf looking fake grass glued to the 'land' parts. The turf stuff is cheap looking to begin with, but it also sheds really badly. Besides that one the rest are great.

I ordered the safari theme and these sensory mats appear nice however, because 4 out of 6 animals in this set are fur animals, they feel quite similar texture wise especially the fox, tiger and koala. I wish the assortment was better in order to have an experience of a wide range of sensory touch and feel.These mats come with a metal ring to hold them together but i pasted ours on the wall after my kids had it for a couple of weeks and were no longer interested in playing with these mats anymore. We have a wall dedicated to sensory mats like this in the kids room and i found that pasting these mats on the wall makes them want to engage with these mats more as opposed to having them lying around somewhere in the house where they have to take these mats out to play.Overall, the quality of the mats is decent. I just wish there were more variety.

This is going to be something for younger kids for sure. We use these at a preschool program for kids who have sensory issues. The quality of the material these are made out of is pretty good as well. I think they will last for quite a long time of use thankfully. Overall just good sensory items!

I got this for my toddler to play with. It comes with a number of different mats, each with an animal head at the top and the sensory material in the rectangle below. The mats themselves seem decent quality. My toddler started playing with them right away and especially enjoyed the sequin rainbow fish.The product also included a ring to hold the mats together, but unfortunately it's not a big enough ring to really fit around the mats, even if you only have a handful on there. You definitely can't place all of the mats on the ring. A much larger ring would be needed.Also, some of the sensory materials could be a little different. The square for the duck, for example, is a fabric with feathers printed on it, rather than using feathers themselves.Overall, however, my toddler enjoys it for the most part and hopefully it will hold up over time.

These are brilliant! The space themed shapes are bright and colourful and the different textures are fantastic for babies or for a sensory room.They are great to look at and to touch and hear the different sounds as they are touched.It comes with a ring keep them all together too which is really handy.They are a great size too - easy to store away bit a good size too.Highly recommended!

This set of six farm animal themed sensory mats are really cute. They measure 9 x 6 inches, and are a good size for children to hold.Each mat is a different animal and the front of the mat is covered in a fabric that replicates the animals coat, so lots of different textures for a child to explore. At the top of the mat is a cartoon style animal head made from a felt type fabric. The mats are also edged in this same felt like fabric. it is a bright and colourful set.There is also a metal ring that can be used to attach all of the individual mats together. However it would work better if the holes on the mats were at an end rather than in the centre because the animal heads get in the way of the ring not allowing the mats to turn over smoothly.Although this set looks cute the quality is very average and not the most neatly sewn. I think at £14.99 at the time of ordering they are overpriced.

From my wife; these are good little sensory mats that you can use to help young children learn about different textures and at the same time relating to animal skins. They are best used for quiet time between an adult and child. We are a little concerned about whether the snake's tongue will stay on, that probably needs to be fully stitched to the head. Although they are quite basic the stitching is well done and they are safe for children to use from about age 2.
