We loved this clock. We had it on the wall where we can view it from our bed. It looked great, but more important to us, we could easily read the time when there was enough light, and it was always quiet. I loved that it has no distracting hand for seconds! Every so often, I would need to reset the time a little bit.However, after a year and a half, I heard loud ticking for hours, and then it broke. We replaced the battery and checked that the replacement battery had a full charge and that the battery was in correctly, and we tried a second battery. So we're convinced the clock broke after only a year and a half.

Battery operated twig hand wall clock. No second hand. Completely silent. Keeps accurate time so far. I like the twig like hands, it's different. Simple and interesting. The face is a winter white - numbers are black. Twigs are a dark brown. I like it. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Not for the kiddos, although they'd love it, but for me, because I'm forgetting how to read an old school clock, and because it's simply beautiful. I'm just a lowly architect, never been on HgTv, but for the price I think it's a bargain. Note, no cover
