Dozens of uses. Durable. Lots of control. A couple suggestions
This is really well built, durable enough for baseballs or softballs. This is used in practice instead of a bat. Sometimes they call these Fungo Bats. You can simulate just about any scenario, except maybe for deep field. It's faster, easier, more accurate, and really helps prevent arm fatigue if you're a parent or coach. You can rapid fire one ball after another and keep your players busy! It also makes it easier to coach multiple players at once. However, if you want it to go deep, don't just hit it like a tennis racket - you need to flip it / launch it like in lacrosse. I feel like most of the reviewers aren't understanding this technique. Someone needs to do a video of all the different ways to use this. And there are other ways you can use this in practice. When they return the balls to you, you can use it scoop up the balls with less bending over. You can also scoop it and flip it to the first baseman, for example, to simulate pickoffs. You can use it when practicing fielding, to scoop up grounders. You could probably use it in other sports as well.I find the handle a little small - I may use some tennis grip tape to make the handle larger. And I think I would prefer it a few inches longer.Overall though what a great inexpensive tool to get more out of your practice time. It's also flat and requires almost no storage space.

Save your money
Bought this bat hoping to make it easier to hit fly balls to the kids in the back yard. This product lasted about a hour and it fell apart the cord holding it together frayed and broke. Extremely disappointed in this product!!!

Saves time, but needs some ooomph
This definitely saves time by accurately placing the ball during fielding practice. Even the most seasoned coaches get tired and start missing the fielder. This "trampoline bat" makes that go much faster. I wish it had a little more ooomph for practicing hard grounders or more line drives.

Baseball practice bat works well for medium range repetitions
As a baseball family, we have hit thousands of grounders, fly balls, and line drives over the past 20 years to our children and their teams. Even as an experienced coach, it is impossible to successfully strike only grounders, or only fly balls, without several misfires. This bat successfully allows any coach to strike a fly ball or grounder with nearly 100% success rate. The only negatives are: the trampoline effect absorbs some of the energy of the strike; and since the Winbat has less mass than a baseball bat, a coach must swing with greater force than with a traditional baseball bat. Although this limits the ability to drive deep fly balls to the outfield, the accuracy gained far outweighs the loss in distance. This is a must-have for any coach who is tired hitting errant practice balls, or watching a helpful dad toss and miss baseball after baseball. We highly recommend this instructor’s tool.

Busted in less than 45 days and 10 uses
Material that holds it together busted. Used it about 10 times for 20 minute sessions and had it only about 45 days!

Know its limits!
This is not intended to be an outfield from home plate pop fly tool, and if you think so it WILL break in almost no time at all. I have had mine for some time and used it a ton with great success! The frame is solid and the material is sound. When this does break eventually it will be the side elastic for sure which I think I could restring with some higher quality stuff and make this last for many years!

Works great
This racket was purchased to practice baseball with our grandson. This is a great tool when you have shoulder issues and can't throw the ball as needed. It's well constructed and works great. The racket comes with a zipped cover and strap that you can hang for storage. Also, I could see this being used to pitch a tennis ball for our dogs :)

Works with limited range
I've been coaching baseball for about 5 years. I have a fungo, but often end up throwing fly balls as I can be more accurate. I have seen one of these paddles in use (name brand), so I thought I would give this a try. It is well-constructed and comes with a nice carrying case. It works for fly balls and ground balls, but the max range/height is less than I had expected. As an example, hitting fly balls with the paddle, from home plate on a 46/60 little league field, I can comfortably get the flies to all of the infielders. I could maybe get it to the grass, depending on how wide the dirt infield goes, with a little extra oomph. In the outfield, it's tough to get long-fly balls. The name-brand paddle I had seen in use launched fly balls from the foul line to center field with ease. The grip on the paddle is a little narrow. I understand the need for this to work with many different-sized hands, but I find that when I swing a little harder, the paddle rotates in my hand. Your results may vary. If you have trouble consistently hitting with a fungo, and throwing isn't an option, you can make this work nicely.
