Excellent thermometer that is easy to use and accurate. Having a sick toddler recently I tried to use my more expensive “highly” recommend digital thermometer that could not provide an accurate temperature. Every time I used it the temperature varied dramatically. I bought this one and it was accurate every time. It has a quite mode that won’t wake up a sick little one and a well lit light that allows for easy reading in the dark. It lights up red when temp is too hot and green if ok. I really do recommend this product.

It has three temperature modes: surface, body, and room temperature readings. It will give readings in Centigrade or Fahrenheit. When you press the Scan button, it will give you a reading in about a second, and beep when it gets a reading. It also has a memory button, that could be deleted altogether. The only complaint that I have is that all four buttons are grouped together, and with the C/F button right above the Scan button, you can end up with a Centigrade reading when you want a Fahrenheit reading. Not a real problem, just a nuisance. The layout of the buttons should be changed, by moving the memory button to the side, and moving the C/F button to the right, giving you more room for your thumb. The thermometer gives consistent and accurate readings, as I compared it to an AMPLIM/AMPMED Model: AMP2001F1 infrared thermometer that I also have. Due to the jumble of buttons, I gave this VERITAS ACCUTEMP THERMOMETER; Model: GAT1124, an Amazon rating of four and a half Amazon stars, rounded off to five stars.

Seems to work pretty well and easy. Just aim and press the button. Temperature is displayed instantly in large easy to read numbers. This is sooo much better than having a thermometer under my tongue for five minutes. The storage pouch is big enough to accomdate the instruction manual if you want it, but the device is pretty much self-explanatory. You can also use it to measure the temperature of food, beverage (formula), and the room the baby is in. Seems to be well made. The buttons feel firm, but still easy to press. It fits comfortably in my hand and has a nice ergonomic feel to it.

This thermometer is light in weight and easy to use without touching the body. As a nurse, it allows me to quickly monitor several patients without needing to disinfect the thermometer between usage. Therefore, it allows me to work efficiently, Unlike assessing oral temperatures, in assessing the temperature in the temporal head area, airborne viruses are not breathed from the patient on to the nurse's hand and personal space. Thus, this thermometer decreases my risk in viral exposure, and contracting illnesses from the patient. So far, so good!

I haven't had a chance to really compare accuracy to any of our other thermometers but it arrived in good condition, on time and the seller has been very helpful with instruction manuals etc. No complaints thus far and the first reading I took with it was accurate with our other touch forehead thermometers.

When I first bought it; I was a little skeptical, but I figured anything to make my daughter more comfortable. It has three settings, room temperature, body temperature and you can check the temperatures on food or drinks too make sure it’s not too hot or cold to drink. I love that it’s noninvasive and i don’t have to constantly sanitize it or buy extra items on the side like ear covers and thermometer. Can I say it won’t disappoint.

The original unit must have had faulty wiring. This can happen, but thru no fault of the seller. As soon as I contacted John, the seller, he was very prompt to over night a new thermometer to me. Which I truly appreciate, since it is very important for my husband’s health. I highly recommend this product and this seller. Very professional and very courteous.

hard to learn to trust something that you don't have to actually touch another with but this thermometer really does work and work well. I've compared the temp it gets with other ones that touch skin and it pretty darn accurate.
