I particularly appreciate their versatility in creating a relaxing ambience that radiates warmth, making them ideal for both everyday use and special occasions.The built-in silver copper wire with 20 LED lights fixed in the wax bottom, which offers two lighting modes: a gentle flickering candlelight effect and a steady light option. The candle mode, in particular, creates a serene environment reminiscent of a softly flickering flame, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The inclusion of a 10-button remote control adds to the convenience, allowing me to easily adjust settings such as brightness levels, timers for automatic shut-off (2H/4H/6H/8H options), and switching between flickering and steady light modes. This has been particularly handy during evenings when I want to set the mood without getting up from my cozy spot.The need for batteries is a let down for me and might be a consideration for some, although the long battery life offsets this inconvenience to a large extent. Having a rechargeable one could have been much better. Additionally, these lanterns are designed for indoor use only, which limits their outdoor decorative potential.Overall, they combine practicality with aesthetic appeal, offering a safe, durable, and beautiful lighting solution for any home. I was very excited to get these, and I have to say that out of the plain cardboard box they look very nice, if a little confusing. They're made out of clear acrylic rather than glass, but it's a good faxsimile, and at least they'll bounce if dropped so that's good. The odd thing is that each cylinder contains one short set of copper-string fairy lights, but the lower half of the fairy lights is embedded in about 2" of wax, as itf it's meant to look like a candle...but there's no flickering flame, jsut the string lights! Very confusing! Fortunately they sill look very pretty when on, so I can live with it.The ability to alter the flicker and brightness is really handy, and if you want them to all flicker at different rates, I realized that you can actually take each one separately into a different room and set the fligher rate, then bring them all bakc together, which is good. The remote isn't the best - it's one of the super-cheap foil topped touch-sensitive ones - but it works, for now.The thing that dampened my enthusiasm though, is the fact that these aren't rechargeable, which at this price I just assumed they were because most tealights you buy nowadays are. Instead they take batteries - three AA each (not included), which is a lot of batteries to be loading up at a time!So I was a little disappointed at the necessity for batteries, and have docked a star for that. But the actual lights themselves are very nice, and the remotes are a nice touch that enable you to place the candles on high spots etc and know that you're not going to have to reach them down each time you want to turn them on. They even have a times on the remote, to help conserve battery life. All-round nice lights, I think, with a pretty twinkle.

These require 3AA batteries each to work ( not supplied )The diffusion of the lights is pretty you can use the remote to dim or brighten make them flash and place in timed mode where they automatically switch on and off .Well made ,a nice addition to a dining table or mantle piece well priced too at just £16.99

These candles add a whimsical touch to any decor. They look especially nice from a bit of a distance. The ability to tweak the brightness and the flicker effect to your work with the rest of the brightness/lighting in the room is nice.I really like the timer function. When you turn these on, and set the timer for 2,4, 6 or 8 hours they will come on at that time every 24 hrs and run for the time you have set, then shut off on their own once the timer has ended. If you only want them to come on when you want, you can just use the remote. The fact that these have a remote allows you to place them in an areas less accessible, yet still control them.Nice subtle decoration. Batteries are not supplied with these, but once installed just use the switch on the bottom to activate them and then control (turn on/off, set timer etc) with the remote.

These are 3 fairy light grey candle lanterns with Remote control. Each candle requires 3 double A batteries for a total of 9 batteries (not included). The candle holders are made out of plastic but when displaying out they don't appear to be plastic and the grey acrylic gives it a smokey look. The bottom portion of the candles is filled with wax in which one end of the fairy lights are embedded into the wax.The remote control is a nice feature that allows for four different timer settings and the light can either be in candle mode which flickers from dim to light or can be set for just on which is full light no flickering. You can also adjust the brightness. These really candles really stand out in the evening.

These candle lanterns are wonderful to have for any event or home decor. The best part is there's no danger of open flames, but you still get that cozy, flickering candle effect. The lanterns themselves are really sleek and minimalist, so they work great in transitional or modern spaces. The only downside is that they're kind of battery-hungry, with each one needing 3 AA batteries to operate. It would be nice if the controls were on the candles themselves, but the included remote is super handy for adjusting the timer, light mode, and turning them all on and off. So, make you don't lose it!

I really like these candles. They look beautiful on a dining table...just a touch of extra class. The interior lights make these! You do need 3 size AA batteries but that's a minor issue when you turn these on. I have not used the remote, but it is included.
