Rainbow Dust Food Pen - Silver

Loving this color. I just got a projector and I can trace the image onto my sugar cookie without a bold, dark line. This leaves a nice light gray looking line. I bought the black one previously, but better to use gray if not using for black detailing. I used this along with my foodoodler marker (which I also love, but it much thicker) and worked great for the smaller font. Can’t beat the pen-like fine line the rainbow dust pen gives you.

This review is verbatim by my 6-year-old:“Waited so long for them to come. Came in like 3 weeks. Didn’t work a bit. Have to dip them in food coloring to get them to work. And just wastes a lot of money too.”I agree with everything he said. I decorate cakes regularly, and do quite elaborate work. I ordered these pens in silver, gold and black to make a ‘grimoire’ cake for a Halloween party. The pens literally wrote only a few letters in light writing and then ran out. I had to dip the pens in gel icing of the same colors to use them. I could have done the same thing with a toothpick and icing. Look for something else for your food decorating!

Good product, but needs to be a little thicker ball point and darker in dust food coloring, other then that I would buy and recommend this product to friends and family

The grey is very, very light in color but it's good to outline without having a bold color that might show under the piping.

I use and love the black Rainbow Dust highlighters all the time in my cookie decorating. I bought the silver to help outline the images before I start decorating. This pen seemed very dry and did not produce a good image even when I wrote on paper. After trying to use a few times, I noticed the thicker end tip appeared to have split and was totally dried out. I cannot use it and the fine point end is dry too. I had read some of the reviews and others said the same thing. This is disappointing as the other Rainbow dust are great. I had to throw in the garbage, total waste of my money.

Writes nice but the color is so light it’s hard to see

yes! was what I always wanted and needed for may candy and cookie painting projects VERY NICE.

I ordered two edible ink pens. The red one was amazing but the silver one did not work. I think it had dried out. I needed the pen the day it arrived ,as my delivery was a day late, and was unable to get another one to use on my cake. Was very disappointed.
