I like beer. And I like homebrewing. What I don't like is expensive fermenters. I'm all for the shiny stainless fermenters, but refuse to pay big money for what essentially is a 5 gallon bucket with spigot and airlock. So that's what I did. I bought some food grade buckets and lids from the orange big box store, some rubber stoppers, air locks, and these spigots.I use a spade bit for the initial hole and then a step bit to make the hole big enough for the spigot and stopper on the lid. This creates a fermenter that is affordable and works well. If the bucket ever gets too scratched up, etc. it is easy to switch out. Super simple way to save some money on fermenters.

Many of the products of this kind will actually leak at the fitting point, because they only provide one rubber ring or because the rubber doesn't have the right quality. So a good product becomes useless if you are forced to adjust it every little while. These ones just don't. Once installed, they sit perfectly there. No leaking.

I haven't installed these yet, but I took them out of the package and looked at them and they seem like solid construction. We will see if they leak, but they look like they will hold up.

Used these to attach to 5 gallon buckets for bokashi. Easy to install. So far they work great no leaks. Would buy again.

Best product i have seen similiar product prototype stainless steel. Some where out among patents pending. Best conservitative pricing and delivery timing works when you need it to. Fast installation when serving more than a few dozen people . Distillers and brewers at work!!

The spigot is nice but the gaskets are garbage. I wouldn’t purchase again if I have to shop for gaskets separately from where I purchased the spigot

I drilled a 1" hole in my 7gal Fermonster carboy, cleaned up the edges of the hole, and had to thread the spigot into place. The seals make a nice, tight seal against the carboy wall and don't squish out like the soft and squishy clear silicon seals found on the white spigots. On top of this, the spout end has the ability to rotate 360-degrees, giving you a extra clearance is the nozzle happens to be too long. Great, great spigots. Don't waste your time or money messing around with anything else.
