It is small enough to stay out of the way and the parts fit in a drawer. It is easy enough to clean, I just pop it in the dishwasher when it is something like cheese otherwise I just soak it and clean it by hand. So glad to have this in my kitchen. I just used foe the 1st time to shred cheese , did a good job , make sure your blade is all the way locked in . Easy to use and clean, and small enough to leave on the counter 👌
