A lot less messy.
I have fibromyalgia so I get a lot of aches & pains, & have read some things about capsaicin helping, so I figured I'd give this a try. The roller ball saves getting your hands all goopy, however it did trigger some pain reactions using something hard against my skin, as another fibro symptom is increased sensitivity. Took a couple of minutes for me to feel any sensation other than wetness, & the smell of menthol. but then it started to cool, & it really does feel quite relieving on grumpy achy muscles, and then it starts to give a warmer tingly effect from the pepper I'm guessing. Not sure how much of the mild ache relief was from this product's active ingredients, & how much was me having other sensations to concentrate on rather than the pain, but I will use it again. I just have mixed feelings about the roller ball, on the one hand it's a lot more convenient & less messy, on the other hand I feel like I have less control over the level of pressure etc than I would have rubbing something on the area with my hand.

Cool heat
Cool but feels heated after a while. I use on my knees easily on the go. Fits in purse and simple to apply.

Effective gel
I like how simple this is to use. All you have to do is roll the gel onto the sore muscle and it will give quick relief. I have this in my gym back as certain days I do heavy lifts, I will get soreness the following day and I have easy access to it. I have used this on my shoulders and legs and it really helps a lot to ignore the pain so the recovery process isn't as painful.

Very cool....or warm
When I first applied this I thought I'd been sold a dud. Upon application it immediately welt....moist. No cooling, no heating, just moist. And that's how it stayed for a good five minutes before it started to chill the skin, in this case the back of my neck, and did so pretty well. With cooling effect going on it was genuinely hard to tell if it was easing the pain or not but it did seem to be dulling it slightly. I don't usually have much success with creams and potions applied externally, the seem to warm or cool but do little else, but this did seem to be doing something, just not something miraculous.Being a rollerball dispenser a little goes a long way and you don't get it all over your hands which is useful if you're out and about and don't have any wipes handy. The cooling likely comes from the menthol while it also contains Capsaicin which is a substance found in chili peppers and has pain reducing properties.Convenient and mess-free it should be interesting to see how it pans out with a little extra use.

Cooling But Sadly Not Enough To Help Me With Joint Pain
This seems to absorb okay but I did find that despite leaving it a good while on my knee to try this out, maybe 30 minutes, with my trouser leg up, my knee was covered in sticky fluff from from trousers when it came to bedtime. So maybe it doesn’t absorb as well as I thought! This is a bit of an issue because the areas I need to use this are usually covered with clothing. It’s easy enough to use though and the roller works fine. It’s fairly large so covers a decent surface area but that could make it trickier to get around any nobbly bits. It feels quite cooling on application which is nice. Does it actually help with pain? It imagine this is going depend quite significantly on the type/origin of your pain. I’ve tried it for painful joints as well as areas with nerve damage. My pain is pretty severe and it’s constant, but I had hoped it might help a little with joint pain from inflammation and other things. Sadly I can’t say this has made any difference for me. It may work a little better on muscles, and it does feel quite nice on my shoulders (where I have knotted up muscles).I’d say it’s a decent option to try and you can only speak as you find because what doesn’t work for one person may work for the next. I just wish it didn’t remain tacky because fluff from clothing seems to stick to it!
