Wide Angle Wing Mirror Glass Replacement, Driver Side , Fits Year ( 2002 To 2009 )

The item itself arrived quickly and seemed like it was reasonably well manufactured. However, on trying to fit it I discovered that although the car is indeed a "2002 onward" Vectra (2007, 2.2 Design) the mirror did not fit. The lip around the existing fitting prevented the new mirror from being able to touch the old broken mirror, therefore would not stick. I can only assume that it was because the driver's side wing mirror is a heated and electronically positionable fitting which is slightly smaller than a standard fitting. I tried it reversed on the passenger side and it fit perfectly. Unfortunately I needed a rapid solution to get the car through its MOT so I did a bit of a Heath Robinson job to get it to stick. Within 24 hours, though, while on the motorway, it fell off.I'm sure that if the mirror had been the right size all would have been well (I have used these mirrors before, quite successfully), but it's a shame that the seller's description did not make it clear that it is not going to fit all 2002 onwards Vectras. If I had the time I would have returned it for a refund.So, might be worth double checking before buying.UPDATE: I subsequently discovered that it WAS because there is a different mirror for a heated wing mirror. I bought one, and it works perfectly. Still find it a shame that the seller didn't make this clear on the description.

1st delivery arrived broken. May be look at better delivery options as package was labelled fragile but was posted through letterbox. On this though when reported they replied promptly and sent another straight away. This one was good and worked well

This replacement mirror fitted the old plastic plastic back plate perfectly, The mirror has a full size adhesive backing so it sticks entirely to the back plate. Other mirror I bought from another supplier only had an adhesive disc on the back, so it was not fully attached. This one is much better. Well packaged and good quality,Instructions say it can be attached to broken glass fragments, but I removed all the glass before sticking it on. This way the heated back plate heats the glass much better.Definately a good replacement.

What a really great product. I had my mirror damaged on Friday(vectra 2004), searched and ordered this on Sunday, was delivered on Wednesday and I fitted it the very same day. fits perfect, sticks really well and looks good. Definitely recommend this product.

I was disappointed when I opened this, as the image, on which I based the purchase, shows the two facet type of wing-mirror with a magnified portion, of which the delivered item was not. However as I need to drive the car that day I decided to fit it

arrived on time and did the job perfectly after our stupid dustman reversed along our road and hit the mirror....thank you
