Charles Bentley Cordless Cream Pyramid Kettle 3000W 1.7 Litre Stainless Steel

I wanted a cream retro style kettle to match my Swan retro products. I'd bought the Swan but returned for a refund as hot water jetted out of the spout after it clicked off. This matches well and it is easy to handle. Takes a bit of getting used to putting it back on the base but I don't use it very often so that's not a problem. Have to put a fair bit of water in to get to minimum so being on my own maybe more than I need at any one time but all in all a lovely shape and colour which I hope I will get many years of use out of.

Poor design I think. Looks great but this kettle is very heavy. A minimum if 1.2 litres to use and handle is awkward to use over the top to pour. Also whilst pouring boiling water for tea the hot steam travels upwards to your hand. If you suffer from arthritic joints etc as I do you will find this very difficult to use.

What a good looking kettle, fast boiling and easy to fill and clean.What a shame its so very noisy.means it only gets 4 stars

My kettle looks lovely in my kitchen with my cream colour toaster and breadbin but it takes awhile to boil and it's quite noisy.

Nice design and colour. Boils water quickly enough.It is rather noisy though. The unpainted metal is also difficult to maintain. A good wipe down does not get it shiny enough.

I wanted a metal kettle as my plastic one was affecting the taste of drinks. This looks gorgeous in my kitchen and I love it. Noise wise I don't thinknits noisier than other kettles I've had, but I've never had a quiet one. Working from home its getting lots of use and so far so good

I hardly use my kettle I live on my own and am a pensioner this kettle frightened me this morning it was like a firework going off in my kitchen I could hardly get near it I would like to return to you for an inspection I still have the box regards Janet Crayford

Love the kettle. Fab retro design. Ultra stylish. Only slight downside is it is very noisy when in use but boils quickly so isnt a huge problem. Would have given 5 stars if it was a little quieter.
