Daily Cleansing Goat milk Soap with Lavender Oil, 5-Ounces Bars (Pack of 4)

This is the only bar soap we now use. I consider it the best soap purchasable, much better than even some higher price soaps. For those of you who have dealt with cleaning soap scum off shower tiles or other areas, this is the soap for you. It leaves absolutely no soap scum. It lathers up beautifully, cleans as good as any other soap I've ever used, and leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. The lavender smell is quite subtle, not overwhelming. I've also used their oat soap, which is also good. It lasts quite a long time, and stays together until the very last, smallest part of it remains, so there is very little waste to any bar; none, actually. The fact that is doesn't leave any residue or soap scum is its greatest feature for me, though, as I got so tired of scrubbing and scrubbing yet would still have a 'white residue' on my tile walls and floor from using regular grocery-store brand soaps. And the price of it makes it a good value. Highly recommend.

I switched to this after Dove started adding fragrance to it's "unscented" Sensitive Skin Bar Soap.In the cosmetics/ body products world, a manufacturer can legally add a "masking scent" and not list it in the ingredients and even label it as unscented. Fragrance free products have to really leave out the addition of artificial fragrances. Due to very sensitive skin, I've learned the difference to avoid itchy rashes.I am very happy to confirm that not only is this soap truly fragrance free, it has such a luxuriously silky lather, I can only thank Dove for giving me the push I needed to go out and find something better.I also appreciate that it's made only from plant oils, not the animal fat (sodium tallowate) that Dove uses. It really doesn't need to mask anything with fragrance.The bars are a really generous size too at 5 ounces, compared to Dove's 3.17.This is a far superior soap!

Absolutely loved this soap. It smelled amazing and left your skin feeling great. I'm so disappointed I can't find it anymore.

We use DOVE, Handmade Goat Milk Soap and this Alpen Secrets. Probably it does not made with raw goat milk, that is only reason I deduct 1 star. There is a difference between powder goat milk and raw milk. Raw milk soap is 2 times better than power milk, yet so as price. With subscription price and compare with other regular soaps, this GOAT milk soap is WONDERFUL. It keeps your skin really SOFT and loves the lavender scent. If I will rank 1st place-Handmade goat milk that made with raw milk, 2nd place- this ALPEN Secrets, then 3rd-DOVE.

Love this soap! Great light, clean sent which isn't overbearing or perfumy. It's gentle on the skin, is not overly drying, and provides a great clean. Lathers well and lasts a long time.My husband tears through soap like nobody's business. He can go through a typical bar of soap in about a week!! I signed up to get these through subscribe and save on a monthly basis so that we'd always have enough soap to get him through. What a great surprise to find that his first bar is still going strong 2 weeks later!!Do yourself a favor and stock up on this wonderful goat's milk soap! These would even make great gifts for the holidays!

I have a major problem with scalp itch. I discovered a few years back that shampooing with goat's milk soap decreased the torment. I've tried several different bands, homemade off the farm, and not so homemade from Amazon. Alpen Secrets Daily Cleansing Goat milk Soap is the best I've tried. It does everything they say it does. I actually look for excuses to wash with this soap. It rinses off totally clear. I bought 8 bars at the end of July. I put a bar out for hand washing and, after washing my hand every time I go into the bathroom, the bar is only half gone. It's wonderful on my itchy scalp. I like this soap so well, although I still have 6 bars, I bought 8 more bars.

I have very dry skin and find that most soaps don't leave my skin as moisturized as promised (Dove!). I always moisturize after showering, but before the day is through, my skin is already feeling tight and leave white streaks if I scratch.However, since I started using Alpen (several years ago), I haven't had that problem. I still need moisturizer after a shower, but it lasts All Day, AND I use Less moisturizer at that! I wash with shower gloves instead of a wash cloth (faster and easier) and find I don't need to constantly re-soap the gloves -- twice is all I need, if that. Once for my legs and arms, again for my torso and face. The smell is not overwhelming, the lather is rich and creamy, plus, the soap stays firm till almost the very end and adheres to the next bar for dear life - nothing gets wasted.

I was looking for a bath soap that was kind and gentle to sensitive skin and someone recommended trying some goatsmilk soap. I came across this product and gave it a try and it was exactly what my sensitive skin needed. I've been purchasing this product for a few years and absolutely love it. It's mild, contains moisturizers, and a very light lavender scent. It is also available in unscented as well as other scents but I love the light scent of lavender. I highly recommend this product for everyday use and you certainly don't have to have sensitive skin issues to use and enjoy this product.

If you are looking for unscented bar soap this comes very close. It has a very mild lemon scent, however it seems to totally rinse away in the shower. The bars do not lather up quite as well as some other goat milk bars I have tried. But overall, they work well and are a reasonable price. I have already placed a second order for them.

I have been using this product for 5 days now and love it. I suffer a lot from acne and just know the last few days of using this soap, there has been a significant improvement but not only with that but my skin is a lot silkier to touch. I must admit I was a little disappointed with the texture of the soap as I thought it would be better for exfoliation also but it was rather smooth but just a minor thing.

Unscented, unable to purchase elsewhere. Thank you for making it available.

I use to be able to bye this bar of soap in the stores some year ago.So I was happy to be able to get on Amazon.ca.Love this soap so smoothly on the skin and having oatmeal is the best part.
