I'm really impressed with this SmallRig tripod and selfie stick.Really well designed, remote works perfectly via bluetooth for both photo and video and the tripod works a dream.Comes with a short USB C cable to charging the remote and a carrying bag which appears to be waterproof too.Only slight issue would be that there is no instructions included, but it took me 90 seconds to work out how to use it.I think this is an essential item for anyone making "how to" videos or for selfies. Good long stick, yet folders to an easily portable device. 5 stars

Overall a pretty decent Magsafe phone tripod. Main points below:Pros 👍:✔ Very strong magnet, I wouldn't want to wave the stick around too much when the phone is attached, but I do honestly think it would stay attached✔ Handy shutter controller. Easy to connect to phone and I like the way it can be easily removed✔ The tilt and rotate mechanisms have a good feel to them, they feel robust andCons👎:✘ Not very stable at full stretch on the tripod feet. I'd prefer for it to have 4 feet rather then 3✘ I have another stick that goes higher than this, for the same size/weight. I'd like to see it be another 12", so it'd be better for standing portrait pictures✘ A small point but the supplied bag is a little too small, getting the stick in and out is a bit tight----------------------------This review is for an item I received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. The media could not be loaded.  Hey... Wanted to let you know that SmallRig cooked up a tasty dish with this tripod/selfie stick. It's got a lot going for it.It's a tripod, an extending selfie stick, a phone holder with a Magsafe magnet and clever clamps, a remote control to take stills or video, and it even crawls on it's stomach like....Seriously, it's really a great tool that doesn't take up much room and is light weight. It does everything well, but I wish the magnet were stronger. Owning a Galaxy Z Flip5 whose magnet is on one end of the phone and not the middle, it's likely to change position on a whim unless I use the phone clamp. But if I use the phone in the folded position it isn't a problem. I just have fewer options in that format. However, no demerits for this little issue.Establishing a Bluetooth connection between the phone and the remote control is as simple as can be. Just turn on the remote, start BT on your phone and select ST-25 for pairing. Done. And I should point out that it works fine with my Samsung Galaxy.The legs, which provide good balance, lock into place when closed. The extending pole is tight and strong: it will stay at the length you choose. The tilt is tight enough to stay put and the phone holder has detents that don't let the phone sag. Great construction. And it's easy to change angles and shooting formats with a push or a twist.I always look forward to seeing the ideas that new SmallRig products realize, and this device is chock full of good tools. And they kept the price reasonable to boot. Recommended.

SmallRig is known for the quality of their camera accessories product and this one adds to their good product portfolio. First of all, very impressed with the eco-friendly packaging. Best packaging so far with only using recycled paper and no plastic packaging of any sort! So kudos to SmallRig.If you're looking for the simplest basic selfie stick tripod with real good quality, no frills, then this is it. Best feature is the magsafe mount. It's magnetically strong even with a magsafe case on your phone if you want to take that quick selfie. No need to mount and stretch a bracket to hold your phone, although it has that option as well if you have that fear of your phone being knocked out in place when mounted via magsafe. So there's the best of both worlds to mount your phone. Includes a remote shutter which is securely flushed into the grip which is really good since other selfie sticks that come with remote shutter easily falls off while SmallRig's version does not and well secured. You will have to use your nail to remove the remote shutter from the bottom.The only caveat on this item is that when full stretched and used as a tripod, it wobbles. So you'll have to hold your phone and the selfie stick for a while until it is in place and steady. But as a selfie stick, this one is solid. It's also not a gimbal so don't expect it to have any sort of gimbal features. Its a good quality selfie stick. You won't be disappointed.

This selfie-stick and tripod with remote is definitely a 5-start rating if you understand just what you have. I would be very careful using the tripod with the stick fully extended. It is not stable – it will fall over with the phone in place. Even without the stick extended, the tripod needs to be on a flat surface, or it will fall over with the phone in place. No problem pairing my iPhone 15. The remote switch snaps onto one leg of the device and is easily removed – thus becoming a remote camera control. I found it easier to take images with the remote not attached to the device. You can then use this remote with other devices like a real tripod. The remote charges with a USB-C connector and a cable is included – unfortunately with a USB-A end for the charger. Since just about everyone probably has a USB-C to USB-C charger, the included cable is irrelevant. The remote can be turned off and will enter sleep mode to save the battery. I did use the tripod itself inside on the dining room table to take pictures of some flowers - no problem. Nice to have the magnetic attach of the phone. Very convenient. For me, 5-stars.

My primary use for this is as a tripod for a few iPhones. It doesn't offer the versatility of a normal tripod and ballhead (with all the adjustments), but that doesn't take away from its overall utility. A small button at the bottom releases the tripod portion of the stand. It's cleverly designed so that the tripod feet, when closed, form a grip.The tripod legs release relatively easily, but can be a bit fiddly to deploy. Nothing too annoying, just of note. A firm pull will reveal the telescoping portion of the stand. I can see why it needs to be so firm, because unlike other tripods, it doesn't have any sort of tightening or locking mechanism to keep the sections collapsed or extended.I do really like the Magsafe attachment for the head of the stand. The only bothersome thing is getting the phone level. There are no aids for that, and honestly, I can't remove a star for that because I'm not even sure how you could do that and keep the stand as compact as it is.Speaking of compact, it collapses down to a very compact form and comes with a lightweight bag for transport. The portability of this stand is downright genius.
