Almo Nature Functional Anti Hairball Dry Cat Food with Fresh Salmon, 2kg

Both my cats love this food. One has a sensitive stomach and it's one of the only dry foods he doesn't throw up. Great that it is available on subscribe & save as well.

I'll start by saying I don't use this as a bowl feed, I use it as scattered treats. My cat has a bowel issue that makes it so he can't eat much dry food, but kitty must have his treats or he'll be moody. So I give him a few dry treats here and there.Cats get hair balls, they (sorry cat parents, it's distressing to say let alone see). Cats wretch a lot when they have a hair ball attack and you want nothing more than to help them.I searched for cat hair ball treats but found the expensive for what they are treats, to be basic cat treats that offerd no benefit.So I thought cat hair ball food, and this is it. Can fairly confidently say that after months of giving him a small amount here and there its actually helping him. It does feel he's not having as many issues with wanting to bring stuff up. He enjoys the treats so much too so they must be tasty to him.I scatter around the room, hide in his bedding, on sofa etc and I can see him darting around digging them out each time. I thought he was losing his smell but these seem to be fighting through strongly.Highly recommended to all owners, give them a try and see the results.

Finally found a cat food that both my fussy cats love! Great quality ingredients, value for money and I love the company ethos!

My cat was often being sick indoors, and we noticed that she often brought up small cylinders of material containing hair. As soon as we started this food she stopped. As precaution I also decided to groom her every morning with a cat's comb, which removes all the loose hair. (Hair balls are thought to be caused by the cat grooming herself and then swallowing the loose hair.)

Not worth the money I don’t think.My cats used to have IAMS, but I wanted to try something that had better ingredients. Bought this, and was really unimpressed.The pieces are very small, leading to my cats inhaling it at the speed of light and then promptly throwing it straight back up again.Even with a gradual introduction, it gave all three very dodgy tummies, and they weren’t very happy on it.It’s a lot more expensive per kilo than others, and I don’t feel it lives up to the price point.
