This is the most wonderful product. The yarn flows freely and I don't have to pull the thread any more. If you crochet or knit this is a time saver. Get the taller one. The short one won't work like you think. This one will hold a pound ball of yarn 500g. It doesn't turn over. I will never be without one again. Assembly was simple - 2 screws and they even send you the screwdriver! It's beautiful and looks pretty sitting on my sofa table. Definitely worth the money. Will definitely buy again for myself as well as my friends who crochet. Thank you Amazon.

The taller/wider yarn holder with strong magnet is beautifully designed. Smooth finish, & no snagging burrs. Spins so easy as I crochet. Life changing for my speed to crochet. I’m able to use one big rolled skein 10 -15 oz size. Or two or three small rolled skeins on the spindle post at the same time. You pull yarn string from the outer yarn on skein , not the inner string of yarn. Great value, worth every penny. I bought two more and gifted one to my daughter. Sheloves it too. Thank you.P.S. I roll my yarn before I use it. I suggest you roll a piece of paper , like a tube and wrap yarn to make it a ball. When I stick the yarn onto the spindle post , I push the post through the center of the rolled paper & it works great! Or you can just stick the spindle post right through the center hole of the skein.I personally think a yarn winder would be nice too.

Works Perfectly! I can put the jumbo Red Heart skeins on it, and it still holds them up properly and spins freely. Easily, smoothly, and without effort, feeds yarn to me, whether it is in a cake or a skein. 100% Highly recommend. I don't know how I went so long without one!

I was initially pleased with the yarn holder until it fell off the table because there is no rubber feet to keep it from sliding. Unfortunately the wooden dowel is now cracked , not worth the price. Sadly it was holding the yarn nicely and my first thought was that this works great.

This yarn holder is a good quality. It does what I need it to do. Try it! You just might love it too.

It was easy to put together. The instructions were easy to follow. It can hold two medium skeins of yarn.

The screw they sent absolutely would not go in! So it didn’t work because I couldn’t put it together, the magnet also wasn’t strong enough

The yarn magnetic holder makes yarn so smooth. I added a N52 magnet and it improves the magnet hold. The holder is beautiful, sturdy even using a cake yarn. Best when yarn is started from the outer pull. Well worth the investment.
