I was skeptical. Would my 16 year old, 25lb shih tzu mix mind it? Would it confuse him? Much to our delight there were no problems at all. He measured 20" so we ordered a large. Perfect fit! We use it at night and when we are out. Sometimes he's dry, and sometimes not :). Still goes outside normally.Very soft and no crinkling sounds. Perfect width. Washes great in the washer/dryer.Yes the Velcro is very strong. If you think that ripping sound might scare your pooch try opening it a few times, over the course of a few hours, while sitting nearby. A good workout for you and a noise desensitization for your fur baby.FYI: Never left a review before but am so pleased I had to share!

We ordered 3 Pet Parent bands and 3 Paw Legend bands to compare. We measured our 85 lb. dog according to the P.P. instructions and ordered the XL size from both makers.The bands are well made and so far have held up fine to their DAILY washings. They would get 5 stars for "Easy to Clean" but both brands are difficult to dry because they're DESIGNED to hold moisture, not let it go. That means they take a very long time in the dryer or outdoors to dry. The only big difference is that the Pet Parent bands are WAY too short around the dogs belly.Both brands are wide enough to do the job and neither leak if they're put on correctly. Instead of making a larger size for their XL band, Pet Parents just sells an L. size band and sell you an "extender" to fill in the gap. They wouldn't come close to fitting without the extender. The Pet Legend bands fit great and are easier to use and to wash.The PAW LEGEND brand bands are proportionally longer so they go on more easily and fit well without the bothersome extender. I'd go with these if I need to buy more in the future.

These work perfectly just for the purpose they are intended. They wash and dry with heat perfectly, are nice and soft on the inside for against pups skin, and are very absorbant. These have prevented many house training urine accidents from being all over my couch/bed. The velcro is very strong, along with being very easy to put on, if your dog will stand still! Also, the elastic isn't to abrasive on the little man's parts, which can be an issue with these. Buy them! They are worth it.

These work great on my dog for late at night when I'm asleep.. They fit perfect.. And no l leakage... They stay on him, without him tearing them off. It is a huge help. So I don't have to smell urine or clean urine when I get up. Life saver! 👍 They absorb the urine very well. Impressed Also, love the designs & they stretch out to fit around my dogs waist very easily, he doesn't look like he even notices that they're on. Best product I've tried! Honest 💯

Works great! Super absorbent and I love that they can be washed and reused! I’ve thrown these in the washer so many times now and they’ve held up.

Before my dog passed from his Cushing's disease, his increased water consumption had messed with his bladder and he would leak whenever he would lay down and rest. This was a great option for us, it went on easy and comfortably and we never had any leakage issues. I don't know how it would hold up with an actual full bladder accident as his was a slow and small amount of urine that would come out, but it was perfect for our needs. I will say there was one time where I got up to let him out in the middle of the night and forgot he had it on and he released a full stream with it on and it went straight through and onto the ground.My dog was a Lab and Shepard mix, who weighed 90 lbs at his regular weight but at the time he passed he was about 80lbs. The XXL fit him perfectly and I imagine it would have still fit at his regular weight.The patterns are really cute as well and it made me smile during a difficult time. I will be donating it along with some of his other belongings to the local shelter, I'm sure it will help other dogs the way it helped us.

These are surprisingly absorbent. They hold a bucket load of pee and keep it away from the skin, BUT…. I bought the XL size because I have an XL dog. They fit long enough without having to use the extenders so I’m sure I got the right size, but why are they so wide??? They are three times wider than the disposable male diapers I was buying. Being that wide underneath is fine, but they don’t taper at the ends to make application of the Velcro manageable. The Velcro part is so wide that it just bunches up when you grab one end and the other and try to affix them. You really need 4 hands to hold each end straight and flat so that it works right. Also the Velcro is a little too strong. It’s hard to pull it off and makes a very loud noise. If your dog is skittish of noises, it might freak him out, as it did mine for the first few days. Be sure to get all of the Velcro covered or it will stick to every rug or carpet or blanket they lay on. Mine came dragging a rug into the kitchen stuck to his back. So there you have it. They are great as diapers go, but a real hassle to put on and off. They do launder quite well, and you must affix the Velcro before putting in the laundry or they will stick to everything in there. They dry much faster outside in the sun in open position. I found I only gave to use about 3 a day because they are so absorbent. My dog has total incontinence and pees constantly, and A LOT!!!! He was burning through $200 of disposable diapers a month, so these cloth diapers are a real money saver. We live with the unfortunate Velcro strap part, but would love to see them redesign that part so that it tapers at the finds on the larger size diapers.
