This product works as designed and met all of my expectations. I am running a SimpleControl wifi setup and needed to integrate this into the existing functionality and it worked flawlessly. The company was also very easy to reach to discuss my requirements plus i saved a $$$ compared to other high end brand names

Broke after 1 day. Instructions terrible.
I spent 2 days programming control4 drivers to work with this; I was able to get IR, IP, and RS-232 to work. I was bragging to my friends that it's the best switch ever and then it broke. After a day all resolutions were VCR quality (actually lower) with 8 colors like an Atari 2600. I rebooted and it it never came back on; just a green light and unit won't start up. No instructions on how to factory reset. DFU update mode does nothing. Unit is conpletely dead. Despite my better judgment, I ordered another. If nothing else I will have 2 very expensive paperweights.

Product ok...bad tech support
This is a pretty expensive product to buy from a no name brand company. The packaging is all very generic...but it included everything necessary for my home theater setup. I have 8 inputs including 3 DirecTV boxes, 2 4K Win7-64 PC inputs, one 1080p Win7-64 PC inputs, one PS3, and one FireTV. I have 5 outputs including a Yamaha AV receiver for surround sound, a projector, two 4K monitors, and one 1080p monitor.I set the matrix switch up for TCP/IP control over a gigabit LAN which worked well. The web app could use some enhancements like disabling timeouts for login. Although EDIDs could be copied from outputs to inputs, there was no ability to read or edit the EDID info. The scene management feature is cool as I can quickly switch from a work configuration with computers driving the monitors and DirecTV on the projector, to a fantasy football configuration with 3 DirecTV boxes and a FireTV with Sunday ticket app driving the four displays. Audio switched seamlessly with minimal lag, but required 4 button presses on the web app (one would be ideal). At first, I thought everything was working correctly. Then discovered that there was no sound when I selected a PC input as the audio source. Despite copying the EDID info from the receiver to the PC inputs, I couldn't get any sound through HDMI when passing PC inputs through this switch. When connecting the PCs directly to the receiver, I got sound. When I connected the PCs through a Monoprice 4x4 matrix switch, I also got sound.I tried several versions of Intel Display Audio drivers with the same result. As a last resort, I contacted tech support. Their responses were slow (2 days) and of zero help. They know much less than I do about their product, ask dumb questions like "did you bypass the switch?" and "did you open the Windows sound control panel?". Yes, and I also confirmed that it is plugged in. If you can design this product to copy EDID info, can't you provide the ability to display it, edit it, or load it from another source? Do you have any labs where you test it with various input and output devices? Or do you just sell a product that someone else designed and you know less than your customers do about it?Oh, and if tech support ever gets back to me with a solution instead of dumb questions, I will consider upping my rating.
