BosStrap Generation 3 Tail / Ultra Light Hand Band

Many years ago I purchased a  BosStrap One Piece (OP) Sling Strap (Black)  and have been very happy with it. However, lately I have been carrying multiple camera bodies with me when I am out taking photos. Instead of buying multiple BosStraps, I decided to "upgrade" my BosStrap to a  generation 3 model  with these tails and I am glad that I did. They make switching cameras on my strap simple while providing a rock solid attachment that doesn't seem any weaker than the original once piece design. Additionally, they allow me to remove the camera from the long strap when shooting on a tripod. (The long strap hanging from the tripod with the one piece was alway a minor annoyance.)Even if I didn't have a BosStrap, I would still prefer to use these with systems like the  Black Rapid RS-7 Camera Strap  to avoid stressing the tripod socket and move the stress of carrying the camera to the strap lugs (which are designed to hang the camera from).

I used this on a Nikon d750/ w 28mm to 300mm lens on a recent trip. The strap did a good job. I think if I had slipped it would have kept the camera in my hand. I use this in conjunction with the Bosstrap generation 3 sliding sling strap attached to the "left side" , and this tail attached to the "right side". My hand would not just slip or fall out of the strap. It gave me the feeling of security I wanted from it. The adjustment was easy and although it uses a plastic cam action buckle it seems secure for my camera and lens weight. I recommend it for a light weight strap!

It works,much easier to carry around your DSLR camera. Took a while to figure out the correct way to wear,they have a dirgram to follow which helps. I carried my camera using the BosStrap all day on occasions and it took most of the pressure off my shoulder and neck and made for a much eaiser outing. It is a bit pricy but more important it really works.

Wouldn't be without the BosStrap and Bos ultra light hand band. The BosStrap is an excellent, secure sling strap and the hand band is another precautionary strap that acts as a stabilizer.

A little bit smaller(shorter) than I expected but it will do the job of giving an added layer of security.

This item is well made and provides a way to disconnect my camera from the BosStrap. It is a bit difficult to open but I guess that's better than having it open accidentally

Love this thing. Has completely replaced the neck strap that came with my camera. Wen I'm using the BosStrap, my camera feels much more secure and it means your camera is alway there when you need it.

Works fine but only for lightweight cameras such as bridge cameras. Would not recommend for full size DSLRs
