I had been "suffering" in the heat with excessively warm fleece lined winter slippers when I thought, why not have a look for specifically summer weight light slippers?After much searching on Amazon I found the Foothugs brand, particularly this item which is lightweight, made (as far as I can see) from natural materials such as suede leather and leather, and has small ventilation holes in the suede upper which in my case avoids them feeling too warm on the really hot days.I would say they have a stylish design and I ended up buying both the lighter tan shade and the darker brown shade too. After about a week I found them really comfortable and fortunately cool in the hot days. The price is very reasonable so I would certainly recommend them.Sizing is also for me more or less as expected -- I am a standard UK size 10, sometimes with a wide fit. As some reviews recommend ordering a size up, I decided on getting a 10.5 wide rather than a standard 10 or a standard 10 wide and these fit really well. So I would say maybe order half a size up from your usual size, wide if necessary (my feet get bigger in the heat which means the wide fitting is useful).On general fit and comfort I think the advice from Foothugs is very good --try them out for a couple of days,allow them to bed in,get your feet used to them and by wearing them normally you will mould the insoles to your foot shape.Incidentally I have just tried to check something on their website, foothugs.eu, and find it is not yet operating at the time of writing (early July 2021). They are aiming to open the new website by end of July 2021.So, highly recommended -- it has stopped my feet feeling uncomfortably hot and I would not hesitate to go back to Foothugs in the autumn/winter for warmer slippers as well.Many thanks for reading -- this is my own opinion and I bought this item through Amazon in the normal way!

The arc support is pretty good and the feel is quite confortable. Great product

I have been suffering from foot pain, probably due to lack of arch support in my footwear. These slippers appear to be of good quality and durable. They have great arch support and feel reassuringly comfortable to wear. I have worn them since my purchase about 10 days ago and so far have met my expectations. If they last 6 months or more I will be willing to award them 5 stars. Mine are size 11 Wide and fit well.

Not as comfortable as I had expected but very smart looking and a pretty good fit.

Straight out of the box, these slippers did feel a little tight and were difficult to slip my feet fully in and I briefly contemplated sending them straight back. Luckily, I read and then heeded the suppliers advice to allow them a couple of days for the suede leather to 'give'. In fact, after only a couple of hours of wear, they were already a perfect 'slip-on' fit. Combined with my cosy new socks, they are the perfect replacement for my old sheepskin pair. And, at just £29, they are excellent value. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Ich gebe hier eine klare Kaufempfehlung.Der Schuh ist sehr gut verarbeitet, hat eine dike weiche Sohle, ein angenehmes Fußbett mit einerm sehr weichen Fersenteil. Die Sohle ist dick und alles sollte sehr lange halten. Perfekt - kauf ich gern wieder - irgendwan ;)Nachtrag: Nach vier Jahren tägleichem Tragen kaufe ich mir neue. Das Fußbett blieb gut, aber langsam sind sie von innen druchgelaufen.Ergänzung 2024/03: Am großen Zeh hat sich ein Loch gebildet - ich werde mich nun nach neuen Schuhen umsehen.

Le pantofole sono veramente belle, ben realizzate, larghe il giusto. In pelle di qualità, traforate così passa l'aria. Forse conviene una mezza taglia in più rispetto al solito. Regalo molto gradito.

Die Sohle hat eine angenehme Höhe und ist mit einer orthopädischen Einlage versehen, die vor allem den Fersen Bereich des Fußes einen guten Halt bietet.Für diese Preisklasse hat der Hausschuh eine sehr gute Verarbeitung und Qualität. Die Passform ist exzellent und der Trage Komfort ist hoch. Ich bin mit diesem Hausschuh sehr zufrieden und würde ihn wieder kaufen.
