I purchased both the left and right-hand supports. Overall I am satisfied with them. Pros and cons listed below.pros:-efficient design-looks nicer than beige hospital supports-comfortable non-scratchy fabric-doesn't get too hot-doesn't rub or irritate between the thumb and forefinger-reasonable amount of space in the straps to fit different sizes-adequate level of support-reasonable priceCons:-small in the wrist (tight on my 7-inch circumference wrists)-gaping at the bottom outer edge-metal support is quite short and not securely fastened at one end-only 2 straps means less positioning control, tricky to position the metal support in a straight line and to keep it there

This was bought to replace an old hospital issue flesh coloured support. This is a much nicer design and immediately eases the pain in my wrist whilst allowing me to still use my hand OK. I also think, although a darker and more obvious colour, the black looks actually much nicer than a flesh one! Vanity!!

This item gave me excellent Carpal Tunnel support initially. It was listed as one size fits all. Maybe my hand was too big and the support was under strain but after a few weeks of daily use the Velcro straps became loose and eventually would not attach themselves to the extent that I had to use safety pins to secure the straps. This was very disappointing as well as quite awkward. The pictures on the website show the straps right across the person's hand. The support straps on my hand did not reach past my middle finger. I do not have huge hands but I could have done with a wider support.

The wrist brace is better than the one supplied by the hospital but it's already wearing out after barely a week! I couldn't move my hand at all in the hospital brace and I need to work,( no-one pays my rent,but me).I operate two hydraulic presses (I'm a vulcanizer. 'Live long and prosper Jim!)The end of the metal insert needs to be leather, I've worn through it just by operating the various levers I need to use.Other than that, it's comfortable and doesn't restrict me unduly. But I will need another one sometime soon. (Fractured wrist and thumb socket)

Very good support with a sturdy splint. The only down side is that I find it gets quite sweaty quite quickly when being active with it on but for the kind of support it offers that's fine. I've only worn it for about a week, will be interesting to see how long the Velcro remains strong, but for now it's holding up well! So happy with it in fact, I now have one for each wrist. Does exactly what I need.UPDATE:I have just purchased a second one for each wrist, not because the Velcro gave up (although was starting to get a bit lacklustre) but because I wore them most days for lots of lifting and the metal supports had poked holes in the fabric and were coming out. Not really designed for daily handling of heavy/many goods but they definitely do the job well. Highly recommend.

I was advised to try wearing this overnight for 4 weeks to help my carpal tunnel syndrome which had got so bad I was not able to sleep all night. I didn't hold out much hope but after two weeks use wearing every night in bed my symptoms have got so much better! I can now sleep most of the night without taking painkillers and I am hoping with continued use it will completely get rid of my carpal tunnel pain and numbness. Really pleased with the results for such a reasonable price too!

The support fits well, and provides great stability and immobilisation for a variety of wrist injuries. The velcro straps fasten easily, and the splint ensures the wrist stays in the rest position. I encountered some initial minor problems with the support, but the matter was dealt with incredibly quickly and efficiently by the customer service team at Calibre Products. I would personally recommend this for recovery from sports injury. Hopefully I won't need to, but I would definitely buy this support again if needed.

I bought this to assist with RSI but unfortunately, it doesn't help much with the discomfort due to the tight fit and positioning of the metal bar in your wrist. I've stopped wearing it now.I would, however, recommend this for someone who doesn't need to type whilst wearing it, the build quality is great and the fit (if adjusted correctly) is very comfortable.
