The diffuser element of this works very well Just add the the water into the tank inside along with some essential oil, and turn it on.It produces a light visible mist with the oil and water mix, and it looks and smells great There are several timer options that can be set to automatically turn it off, and it also turns itself off if the water runs too low.I am not completely sure what the point of the salt is. There is a plastic bag of salt rock crystals provided with the diffuser, and these sit in a channel that runs around the top of the diffuser. They do looks pretty with the ambient orange or blue light that diffuser can be set to.The listing shows pictures of flames coming out of the top, and I was keen to see how this was gong to be achieve, as it looks very good in the images, The diffuser doesn't have a flame like effect, the closest it has is the mist that comes out, along with the ambient light could give the impression of flames, especially in the dark.

A lot of good features.The two ultrasonic misters are very effective to spread the aroma of a couple of drops of essential oil in the water.A remote would have been great addition.

The media could not be loaded.  Yeah totally nothing like the photos, I never managed to make fake flames appear, but it does work as a diffuser, and it looks nice. There is a light button, and a mist button, the light switches between red, blue and off, the mist switches modes and has alternating mode on and off every 30 seconds, or continuous, then there's timer, after the timer is set with the mist mode, built into the machine hits 2 or 4 hours countdown, it then auto shuts off, alternatively if it runs out of water, it auto shuts off, which is neat, but not unheard of, as most if not all of them have this option these days.Once this happens, you should clean it asap, with some clean water or youtube a guide on how to clean a diffuser, then I suggest you dry it if your not going to use it again for a while. This prevents bacteria build up, and you don't want that going around in the air, you could technically leave it for about 2 days but after that I wouldn't chance using it longer than 3 days, best to clean it as often as you can for that clean particles in the air when it shoots up smoke.Lastly I recommend using distilled water instead of filter or tap, because those contain minerals, and distilled water doesn't have any minerals, so it be easier to clean, it won't leave much lime scale in these machiens. May I suggest also checking out guides on how to make distilled water if your into that sort of thing, but it's entirely optional. Good product, but with no flames (unless mine is broken), just cool to the touch smoke.P.SNice salt rocks touch, but this means keep away from children as they are not enclosed in the product.

I rather like this little humidifier. When I say little, I mean little...it's very small, much smaller than it looks in the images, being about a foot long. The light is quite effective with the rock salt, making it look very much like hot coals.It's very easy to use, just put some water in the dispenser and turn it on. That's it. The mist looks great as well - and half an average size glass of water lasts for ages. Obviously, the effectiveness of the scent will depend on how much you put in (a couple of drops of some sort of essential oil is all you need).The reason I've deducted one star is that the light is limited to one colour...I would've liked to have seen some sort of flickering light to even more effectively imitate a flame; that and the fact that there is no remote control. Still worth it though.

The media could not be loaded.  This humidifier is mesmerising to watch and looks great in both colours.It’s almost silent during operation and the 200ml reservoir gives a good few hours of use.You can customise your settings, and have it set to work intermittently or continuously or on a timer, have light and mist working together or separately, and it will automatically switch off when the water is depleted.It fills the whole of my downstairs with fragrance and I love the look of the salt crystals which can be replaced or added to as they are available on Amazon.It creates a relaxing space and has a beautiful effect.It’s fairly priced and appears to be well made.I hope you find my review helpful.
