Gentle All-Purpose Salve That Works Wonders
I started using OWELL Naturals Draw Salve (1 oz) a few weeks ago after getting a painful ingrown hair, and it surprised me with how soothing and effective it was. The ointment goes on smoothly and creates a cooling, comforting barrier. Within a day, the redness was visibly reduced, and the discomfort eased significantly. It’s also been great on bug bites and minor skin irritations—my itching stops almost instantly, and I haven’t had to reach for stronger creams since. The little jar is just the right size to carry around in a purse or first-aid kit, and a tiny dab goes a long way. I’ve also used it for cleaning small splinters or calming sunburned patches with soft results and no sting. The blend of calming botanical extracts and clean ingredients makes me feel safe using it on kids as well. For anyone in need of a simple, natural salve that handles everyday skin mishaps, this one really delivers.

Smells good and does the job
This salve works wonders! Easy to apply, and the greasiness goes away quickly as long as you rub into the skin. Pain relief worked for my skin issue, and I do love that this consists of natural ingredients, the smell is a nice bonus for me.

Money well spent
Used this on a boil my husband had and it drew all the yuck out of the sore and helped it heal quicker. A little pricy but worth it because it works so well. Have wasted money on cheaper products so this is worth the money

Nice first aid addition
It didn’t draw out what I wanted on my pet however I really liked the ingredients and used it as a moisturizer on my skin when I had a contact dermatitis, excema breakout. Also used it with oregano oil, tea tree oil, or frankincense as a base.Later found other ointments that helped healing. Took it in stages of the healing process and I felt better.Liked the smell and feel and price was reasonable.

This product WORKED!
There is a lengthy, rather poetic review written earlier this year that lead me purchase this product. I’m not going to be poetic here but I will say this truly helped. I go barefooted a LOT & get stickers in my feet & can usually get them out easily. However, this weekend I got a sliver of something in my heel that I couldn’t get out. I tried typical methods - needle pricks & tweezer pulls, peroxide soaks & baking powder paste. Nothing helped. I could not put my weight on my foot & honestly couldn’t really bend my leg in such a way as to give me a great view or the coordination to get to the thing in my heel effectively. I searched online & found a suggestion that lead me to Amazon where this product popped up. I ordered it yesterday & got it this morning. I applied it, bandages my foot & waited a few hours. The thing in my foot became more visible but still not to where I could get it. I did the same procedure 2 more times & the final time I could see the item protruding just a bit above the skin & was able to grab it with tweezers. I will definitely keep this product on hand!

Does Not Declare in Amazon Info Section that it Includes Comfrey
This product contains Comfrey leave extract. It is the last ingredient on the label and I don't know its concentration. On the Amazon page in information about the product it lists the following ingredients: Arnica, Frankincense, Tea Tree, Olive Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Camphor Oil, Lavender Oil, Pine Oil. Comfrey is a questionable ingredient in many instances as it can be carcinogenic, but it is not listed there. I am left wondering if there is risk with this product. I think it should be listed as an ingredient given people want to screen for it sometimes. It may be too little to cause harm (and people are not eating it) and it is listed as the last ingredient on the label. I gave it 3 stars as I am not sure I want to use it. It otherwise seems like a good product. Its touts that it contains all natural ingredients, it seems to imply it is safe and by its listed uses that it can be used on broken skin or slightly red skin (although not deep wounds of course). I wish someone could clarify the relative risk.

I had my doubts.
I was definitely hesitant to try this. I bought Prid a few months ago because everyone swore by it and it didn’t do anything for me. This draw salve also had mixed reviews, but I was dealing with an ingrown hair on my bikini line SO deep it might as well have been rooted in my toes. My grandmother suggested trying a draw salve, but the one she had was from the year 2 BC, was black as oil, and stunk to high heaven. I decided to try my luck on this and I’m so grateful I did! This helped me get that stubborn ingrown in 4 uses! The only other thing I did was gently exfoliate with an unscented exfoliation glove and my normal soap before applying. This salve drew out the hair, the pus, and the blood from the blister I created trying to dig it out with tweezers before buying this salve. The hair has been out less than an hour as I write this and the swelling and pain are virtually nonexistent!! A little goes a long way, it will definitely feel greasy if you use too much, though the area should be completely covered. It’s hard to find a happy balance. I don’t find the smell unpleasant at all. It smells like herbs. Definitely worth the money, even for a small jar.TLDR:-Has a natural, herbal smell.-Using too much can be greasy, but the area should be well covered.-It is a very small jar, definitely worth the price.-For the love of chicken parmigiana; EXFOLIATE first.-IT WORKS.
