This works very well. I would say it's as good as the name brand.

I’ve used Orajel Max Strength gel & Anbesol Liquid & Gel for decades. I’m usually very picky with my products & stick with what I know and love, but let’s face it…. There’s nothing worse than getting a toothache in the middle of the night & not having something to relieve it!!This is a decent backup to my usual stuff. At first I didn’t like the flavor, but it grows on you. It has a minty aftertaste with the usual medicinal numbing taste. It definitely numbs you up quickly! I think it lasts awhile too, but that all depends on your body and how fast you metabolize it.My trick: apply a thick layer to dry gums if possible, around whichever tooth/teeth are bugging you. If you can let it sit in there for a few mins (instead of luck it off or swallow most of it) the better. I usually apply a second layer to really numb the area. If you’re having pain still, try an ice pack on the outside of your cheek!! That helps with abscesses.If you’re in agony, this will help in the interim! Plus it’s a nice big tube. I’m surprised it’s not cheaper since it’s an “off-brand.”

I like this for instant numbing/relief. Works like other drug store brands I've bought before.

I feel the effects of the cream very quickly. It did last a good while to give me relief good some tooth pain. It does seem to be on par with the standard commercially available type of product.

Works pretty well, says what it does on the label. If my tooth pains kick up after eating something cold, this helps until I can get home. Pretty similar value to the known name brands, tastes a bit mintier though (for me a plus, but that's personal taste).

Hello friends, I selected this geri care, instant toothache and oral pain relief gel for toothaches.This particular product is a generic version of orajel maximum. It has 20% benzocaine. It is used for gum irritation from toothaches, and canker sores, two braces and dentures. Toothaches pop up out of nowhere so I'm keeping this in my first aid kit. It has a screw-off cap that has a syringe point that you have to cut in order to open the product so be prepared to have a scissor or a knife nearby. The tube is only a half ounce but it is maximum strength. The tube is very small so it would be just fine in a purse. Has to be screwed on and off too so it won't spill all over.
