Very sticky & easy to use - 'rescued' my dash cam mount!
I used this kit on a Nextbase dash cam, ancient but still working, where the suction cup was literally falling apart due to UV exposure over the tears. After carefully cleaning the suction cup with Isoprppyl Alcohol, I stuck a pad onto the cup, left it a couple of days to cure, then stuck the unit onto the windscreen of my car, using 2 strips of tape provided to anchor the dash cam while the glue cured.Remove the strips, wire the unit up again, back in use. The few days of hot sun we have had since have not affected the replaceement pad - time will tell. The unit has been in place for a week, so it certainly appears to have stuck well. The kit includes cleaning wipes and secondary sticky tape (which removes without leaving any residue) to hold the camera in place while the pad glue cures.I also have used one of the pads to replace the sticky pad on my Satnav dashboard plate (which lost adhesion after 4 years) and that has stayed put so far, All good!Yes, it appears to work well, and is simplicity itself to use. Only time will determine just how good the kit is.For now, 5 stars for doing as it claims, and for fixing my sat-nav plate!

The dashcam is back in use!
Sick of the dashcam falling off the windscreen at random times, I was pleased to be able to test out these sticky pads. I have to admist I wasn't sure if they would do anything. The pack comes with all you need to get sticking.Cleaned the glass and the old rubber sucker, stuck on the sticker.Stuck to the windscreen and used the superstrong tape to help hold it in place. This was left on for 2 days (as we forgot about it). During the last week we have driven about 600 miles, with and without the tape holding the dashcam in place. Been parked facing the sun and had the temps drop low at night (not freezing but to about 7 degrees) and the dashcam has stayed stuck to the windscreen.Very impressed with these stickers. Easy to use and much cheaper than buying another dashcam.

As it says
These are suitable for exactly the purpose they are described for. For holding a dashcam to a windscreen they fit the bill and the adhesion is strong enough for that. I tried using one for holding a heavier phone mount and whilst it did seem to all be good, after a few days, the phone was on the desk again. This was for a different type of force though(twisting). Still, I can't complain because that isn't what this is really for. I wouldn't be trying to hang a car wheel off this though - as they suggest you can!Easy to fit but you need to follow the guidance on not using it like a typical sticker. It needs time for full adhesion to be established.

Great replacement stickers for mounting a dashcam
These dash cam sticky mount pads are exactly what I needed to remount my dash cam after a windscreen replacement. My previous ones were smaller and I've cut these down just a tiny amount using a very sharp pair of scissors and they are holding well. There's 4 in the pack and I've only needed to use two so far, as I took the opportunity to refresh the back mount as well, so I've still got a couple of spares. For best results, I read that it's best to apply when the windscreen isn't too hot. I cleaned the area well before applying, using the cleaning wipes provided, then held it in place for several minutes whilst it took and it's been great. There are stickers in the box for holding it in place, if you have the space for them but I didn't but it worked fine.Overall, I'm glad I finally got it done as I've been putting it off. It was super easy with these stickers.

Perfect replacement dashcam stickers
Our Nextbase dashcam sticker lasted a good couple of years but started detaching from the windscreen, This sticker was the perfect size and was easy to install and the mount is sticking well to the windscreen again, no issues.

Perfect replacement pads
Had to move my dashcam to a new car, so needed a new sticky pad. These are as good anything offered by dashcam suppliers. “3M VHB” says it all really. The pack of four isn’t exactly cheap, but at least you get tape to hold the dashcam or its mount in place until the adhesive on the pad cures. A must buy, if you have to replace an old sticky pad for any reason.

Also - bisher alles super.Sollte sich das ändern (bei der nächsten Hitzewelle), werde ich hier berichten.

Awesome fix if your suction mount fails
My Vantrue N1 rubber suction cup mount cracked and no longer holds. Plus it was doing the every month or 2 fall when you aren’t there and come back to a dangling camera dance. This fix’s all of that. Just clean your mounts rubber surface, window, stick everything together and let the whole mount setup for a day. Then reattach the camera body to the mount and done - never falls again. I’d highly recommend this to anyone with any type of round suction cup mount who doesn’t want to buy a completely new mount, even if one exists on the market due to parts obsolescence, and just wants a value oriented fix for the existing mount.

Stickers For Adults
We have a dashcam in every car, right now. Absolutely essential to capture behaviours and habits of our peers...or should I use the appropriate descriptive term and call them our...competitors. Always dangerously hurrying to the next red signal. Well done...WELL done!!!So we have dashcams. And on occasion, these dashcams flounder under the enigmatic allure of gravity once the suction cups broil prolongedly, but defiantly, in the suns perpetual reticle. Some last longer than others. But one in particular, succumbs to invisible wounds within a pair of harmoniously behaving weeks. A new supportive component is required. What better way to provide support than with stickers? Now adults can find efficiency AND amusement benefited by the lack of pet hair. The volport package provides a total of four adhesive pads, with a supporting ensemble of the same number of auxiliary stickers, a pair of wet wipe packets and a simple, informative and practical user manual for those who desire contemporary literature escapes. And all this at the very affordable price of $13 CAD.Application is easy. What you may find difficult is how the newly introduced colleagues captivate one another. Peel the yellow adhesive cover off, apply to the suction cup of the dashcam or whatever contraption you wish to permanently immobilize. Then peel off the red adhesive cover and apply to the windscreen or whatever object you wish to tether whatever object to. Makes no difference to me OR the adhesive pads. Just do so with caution and respect!Following the above steps, I settled in for a long wait. It's been almost a full month and the test subject has circumnavigated failure. The dashcam remains firmly planted and contumacious, tirelessly repudiating the suns nuclear fusillade, refusing to decouple. HOWEVER...there is some concern. The suction cup is concave in design, preventing even contact between the cup and windscreen. During application I applied tremendous force to establish a flat surface. I suggest the same brute force approach for everyone. Seems to have worked, unlike my past relationships. No adhesion whatsoever.I recommend these adhesive pads for light dashcams. It is marketed as a 3M product and seems to perform to their standard. I wonder if only my ex and I sought consultation with 3M instead of a psychiatrist......... Hmmm.
