Works nicely. A few small wood chips creates a lot of smoke. I was surprised to find out that there is no igniter/heat mechanism. You have to light the chips using a secondary lighter. Also, the chips are not in a closed chamber. They sit in the black hole at the top. So, this thing is effectively a little vacuum. It's easy to use though and the rectangular shape makes it easy to keep the chips in place since it doesn't roll around. The vacuum effect helps suck the flame towards the chips so it lights up pretty easily and quickly.However, because the chips are open, it will smoke after you turn it off, so it's not really feasible to use indoors. You'll also want a place ready at hand to dump the chip remnants when you're done.

The media could not be loaded.  I kept thinking there’s no way this dinky small thing will cold smoke anything. I was wrong. First of all it has a sleek and contemporary look. Things I didn’t like was It is a little loud for its size and the instructions could have been better. The tube doesn’t fit very well into unit so smoke leaks out and goes everywhere. But it’s still amazing for the size I have to give it 5 stars. In my video I was making smoked salmon nigiri on a potato puff. I let it smoke for two minutes and it was the most flavorful thing I’ve ever tasted. I was worried it was going to be complicated to use but it’s not bad at all. Figuring out how to clean it is another story.

I bought this for my husband for Fathers Day 2020. I was sceptical that it would work, (I'm kind of spoiled as we have 2 huge smokers lol) Well, I'm happy to say it works brilliantly! I customized a plastic box from the Dollar Tree, made my hole near enough air tight with Super Stick Mounting Tack. Works really well.UPDATE:It stopped working after 4 uses and they wouldn’t let me return it.

I purchased to add a bit of flair and aroma for cocktails. I found cherry and applewood to work best for aroma. Using a torch lighter for a second or two works far better than a typical lighter. The sound of the fan within the product is not to loud, unlike other smokers.

Bought this as a christmas gift and was surprised at first by how small it was, however it seemingly works really well! Gift receiver tried it out the same day and reported great flavor and a surprising amount of smoke production! Wood chip chamber is fairly small though, so be sure you are not buying larger chips to use with it!

I bought two of these. One to keep and one for a gift. It is easy to use and fits with the dome and other accessories. This little gadget is great for smoking cheese and smoked drinks. A neat housewarming or hostess gift that is unique and useful. Make sure you get the dome or drink cover if you give as a gift along with the wood shavings!

Didnt add as much smoke flavoring as i expected. You could taste it, but we were expecting it to be stronger

I bought this as just a fun thing to do with friends, but it really worked well and others bought the same one they were so impressed. We made smoked bourbon drinks and you could really taste the smokiness.

I decided to buy one of these handy gadgets after seeing so many chefs use one. I tested it on some reserve cheddar and did a taste test (with just 2 of us). Amazing! I used maple chips from my bbq smoker, small pieces. Put it into the burn pit on the top side and lit with a bbq lighter. Turned it on and used a bowl as a cloche and smoked for 2 minutes. I would make sure it is on a heat safe surface. I did the first run on the stove top. Great accessory to my kitchen tricks.

This product has been used by somebody to smoke marijuana. It stinks of weed and has resin and bud residue throughout it.I will be making a formal complaint

Works fairly well, not as good as a breville but to be expected since it's considerably cheaper. not the easiest to light up either but once you do, you get a good amount of smoke out of very little wood. Good buy for the price.
