Skids that hold up well!
After using these skids for a few months now I can say they hold up very well. I have used them multiple times on rough asphalt and concrete and they have some wear showing but nothing major at all. They slide well on the rough stuff that some of my other slides would just tear themselves apart on leaving a trail of material the whole way. The pin together adjustable width is nice so you can minimize the load your pulling by going just wide enough to float the wheel.

Every flatbed driver needs a set of skates
These work great for newer and electric vehicles that you need to load, but can't get in to neutral to roll. Not only do they assist in loading, but they let you slide it off to unload as well. They have a really nice taper for slipping under wheels (better than my other set). They feel very solid and heavy with no flex (my other set almost feels hollow and has some flex), I'm not sure if that will prove better or worse than my other set, but they do feel durable. I like that these have tie bars so that you can attach 2+ more together for wider tires and duallies (especially if the tires are flat). I do think these could be improved by adding ribbing to the bottom for less friction. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with these.

Six Pack of Safety
Nobody likes getting stuck in the mud or snow. These tire skates are pretty amazing. They go under the tires so you have some traction to help get you out of a slippery situation. These are well made. I definitely feel safer having these in the car and want to get them for all my kids. Recommend. (Review is for ire Skates Adjustable Width Towing Skates 4,000 lb Working Load)

Great for many uses
These work great for loading things on a snowmobile trailer. The deck can tip, but for some items the deck cannot be tipped all the way up as it will hit what is being loaded. Using these skates it allowed me to get the items over the lip of the deck to load them.I originally got them to help with vehicles to load on a trailer. You can roll the vehicle onto the skates and then winch the vehicle and let them slide along. They are rated for more then what I will put them through so I have a safety zone.I do recommend these if you plan to load anything that might have the tires lock up and not roll. These will make it so much easier.

Great Product
So far this week, I have used for every other task except that which they were designed for! The first off-label task was using them as wedges when cutting down a tree. Not driving them in with a hammer, but slipping them in to prevent the tree shifting and pinching the blade. Then, these worked great as skates under the front of the log as we winched it out. It scarred the ground less and made it easier on the winch. Then I had to load a 500 pound wood stove onto a trailer. My ramps have a textured surface, and we did not want to scuff up or bend the stove legs. I used pieces of flat metal stock, drilled out, on each side of the skate, hooked to a shackle. Put a pipe between the shackles, and winched that stove right up the ramp. Then, I had a pallet of building materials sitting on the wood deck of a trailer. That wasn't going to slide at all. I slipped these skates under the pallet, and using the same method as for the stove, pulled the pallet with a come-along. The provided hardware nicely clamps the skates together for wider surfaces - like a tire. With some creativity and finding alternate ways to attach the pulling force, these are very useful devices. Simply a great device to have in your arsenal of tools for weird tasks. These are heavy duty plastic skates. I'm wondering how I ever got along without them!

Make Extractions A Little Easier
I am sending these out with my lead tow truck driver to see if they will simplify extractions on slip decks. The plastic is rugged and each piece is only a couple of pounds. If they make extraction easier, I will buy an assortment of them for all four slip decks.

Wow, impressive! We are super happy with this! I almost wish I had gotten it sooner! It's strong and sturdy, well-made, and a great value!

Heavy duty set!
I got these for moving heavy items that don't have wheels or roll. These work much better than the plastic board I've been using for years. These have a smaller footprint which helps for some applications but hinders for others. In that case you just connect them with the included threaded rods giving you a larger footprint if needed. I intend to keep these in my F150 Lightning, just in case.
