Great for Dry Hair
I like that this batana oil is 100% pure without any added ingredients. You only need to use a little to get the benefits you want. In fact, I recommend against using a lot of the oil at one time; otherwise, your hair will end up feeling greasy even after washing it. A little bit of this oil goes a long way and is easy to distribute in your hair. This oil is in a solid form and is creamy when rubbed into your hands before massaging it into your hair. Then all you need to do is let it sit in your hair for 30-60 minutes and wash your hair like usual. I've found this oil helped out a lot for moisturizing my dry hair and repairing some of my split ends. It also greatly reduced the frizz in my hair and helped form perfectly shaped curls relatively free of frizz. Overall, I am happy with this product - it improved the health of my hair and the amount of oil in the container will go a long way.

Smells amazing, helps tame frizz, and make shiny hair!
I love this hair oil! I am very happy that there are no other ingredients in it, and the oil smells amazing, like a coffee scent. I put it on for about an hour before I washed my hair, and it washed out great, and did not leave my hair oily after the wash. A little goes a long way, so it should last a while! I love how it left my hair feeling soft, looking shiny, and overall healthier. I would definitely get this hair product again!

"Black Label" premium packaging with probably-real contents
My first impression (having gone through several containers of Batana oil from several different brands) is that this takes the packaging quality to a more premium level - glass jar, all black-and-silver labeling. The ingredients list is "pure batana oil" sourced from Honduras but packed in China. Although a single ingredient should imply that it's 100%, it actually is distributed by a brand called "The 100 Percent LLC" so, why does that feel like a loophole by which to get away with misleading packaging? As for the contents, it feels very nice and smooth on my hair, but is more greenish and more solid at room temperature than some of the other brands I've tried, which tend to be brown and have a little bit of liquid oil on the surface. The smell is also slightly less coffee-like than expected, still very aromatic just... Not as much.So while I do believe it's raw & pure batana oil as the label says, it doesn't have the same natural pressed characteristics I've come to be used to.

Lovely authentic scent
Glad to see actual unrefined batana which is solid at room temperature which can melt in high temperatures (for those that receive it in liquid form) but should return to solid when it cools. Mine arrived solid and the smell is a wonderful chocolaty coffee earthy scent which is associated with Batana. I used it today by scooping up a little at a time using a small cosmetic spatula I already had and softened it between fingers before applying to scalp. I applied the remaining oil left in hands to the strands and left in for several hours before washing my hair (washed twice with gentle shampoo). My hair is so soft and healthy looking. I will have to wait 6 weeks or so before seeing results and I’ll update again then.

Love this oil!
Lovely quality hair oil! Texture is thick and smooth and it smells sweet with a hint of coffee. It's very easy to overapply--I suggest warming the oil between your fingers, parting your hair in several places, and applying along the parts! As a blonde, all hair oils darken my hair at the roots until I've washed it 3 or 4 times, but I did notice less darkening with this Batana oil. Fantastic hair oil--10/10 would recommend!

Love this stuff!
This is really good batana oil. I've tried a few different brands and this one is 100% raw batana oil sourced from Honduras.I use as a prewash mask and it leaves my hair and scalp very moisturized. After only one use my hair is very soft, smooth and frizz free. If you have dry frizzy hair like me then I would definitely recommend!

Not Only For Hair
I use the Batana Oil Butter for my hair and I have found that it works well for my skin, as well. I am finding more and more that 100% Natural Products are the way to go. I feel good about using the Homeopathic approach and it gives me an extra sense of calm knowing that I'm not using chemicals that coat everything and glue it down. No guilt feeling of tortured animals. The formulation of this brand is spot on. It does have a different and very distinct smell of coffee. The scent does calm down after a few minutes. If you are sensitive on the nose, you need to be aware. It is strong.
