毎年9000Kmほど走るので、トラブル回避のためにも年に一度オーバーホールをしている。作業はプロに任せるのだが、部品は持ち込みOKなのでワイヤー類他、自分の気に入っているものを揃えてお願いしている。プロは、一番スタンダードなものでもそんなに変わらないと言いますが、実際いまのコンポで４万キロほど走ってみると以前のものとは操作感 特に軽さははっきり違う。電動でない限りこの違いは走りの質にかなり影響していると感じている。
