We just gave the Hoverboard to our grandson last night for his birthday and he was thrilledOur grandson and our granddaughters are riding it all night long last night! It’s a great product. It’s sturdy looks good. It’s better than we even Imagine imagined!!!

My 11 yr old son purchased this item a month ago and has been riding the hoverboard almost every day since. So far, it has held up well to the inevitable rough handling of kids! How long the battery lasts depends on the type of surface he rides on (smooth, flat surfaces give the longest run time). A full charge seems to last him approx. 45 minutes when he rides on our concrete driveway and sidewalks.The lights on the side are nice to have (especially when riding at dusk) but personally I think the Bluetooth feature is kind of unnecessary. We did test it out and the sound quality isn't terrible. Just not something my son is going to use much.As for safety, this has a max speed of about 6mph and a beeping noise lets you know when you've reached it. For younger kids this seems to be a perfect speed ceiling. They are going pretty fast at that rate but not so fast (from a mother's point of view) that they risk serious injury if they fall off.We don't do helmets or knee pads, but you might want to when first starting out.Aside from the technical stuff, my son LOVES this thing and all of my other kids now want one. The neighborhood kids all want to ride it too. If you're looking for something to get your kids to play happily outside for hours, this is a good choice!

I bought 2 of these for my 8 year old twins as end of school year gifts.I was a little apprehensive at first because I specifically looked for “youth” size and these were big and heavy. However, the big and heavy part is a very good thing. They are well-built and my tiny 8 year olds fit fine and understand that they have to carry them when needed. I believe the weight limit is 200 pounds so they can be for a wide range of users.It took my girls about 1/2 hour to get the hang of these as they have never rode hoverboards before.We watched a couple of you tube videos and made room in the house for them to practice. They love whipping around on the hardwood floors.Both girls have taken falls (outside) but still love their hoverboards. I do have them wear helmets outside but I don’t think it’s necessary.I highly recommend this not-too-expensive hoverboard for anyone beginning this fun activity.Remember that you will need to charge it up first thing before initial use. There’s a bit of charge out of the box but it won’t last.

The media could not be loaded.  The straps to keep the carry on top of hover board doesn't last long. We have had the cart almost a month and we are out of straps. Now to find something new to put on it to keep it attached and not break so easily. Other than that it's great My 8 yr old and 17 yr old love it. Any suggestions on how to fix to last loner open for suggestions

The media could not be loaded.  When I received it, I hoped for there to be a green light indicating it was ready to use, but no light appeared, so I put it to charge and have been charging it for the last 2 days and a light never came on. This product was sent defected, and I highly recommend you purchase another product if you want to have a better experience for what I received.I contacted Amazon and it is best never buy from a third party.

My granddaughter loves thus thing. She wa to to ride it all day. Taking her awhile to get the ha g of it but so much fun. Can't wait for tHer to get lil older and ride it without the seat to.

First off my daughter and her cousins love this hover board! Anyway my daughter lost her charger so I asked the seller where I could buy a new one, and the seller contacted me very quickly and sent me a new one free of charge! I'm so happy with this purchase. Only thing is it does not have LED lights but thats not a huge deal.
