So cool
This is amazing. As a 90s kid, I spent many hours in front of the TV with my friends playing a variety of games. I stopped playing video games when I got older. I don’t enjoy modern games. Sometimes I just want to unwind and tune out a bit. The Miyoo Mini Plus allows me to enjoy all my childhood favorites as well as titles I never had the opportunity to play.Shipping was incredibly fast. I love the little case that the device came with. The build quality of the MM+ is great. It’s small and light. Much lighter than I remember the original GameBoy being. I enjoy the texture of it. It’s not exactly smooth. It has a bit of tooth that keeps it from flying out of your hands. The display is sharp. Old games look great. The little speaker is fine for what you’re playing. The performance of the system is quick and intuitive. The buttons have a very nostalgic feel. The best part, no disposable batteries! The device came with a great variety of games, and if you’re willing to put in the time and effort you can get many more. You can also upgrade the operating system which I highly recommend, but is not necessary. It is ready right out of the box to enjoy. The MM+ is a great value. Think about how much money you’d spend on a modern system and additionally purchasing all the individual games. It’s a no brainer. If you’re craving some old school fun you need to get one of these. You won’t regret it.

A convenient little emulator
This thing is pretty slick. Love the feel of the buttons and the quality of the screen. It should be noted that this doesn’t come with games pre-installed, but adding them via computer downloads is super easy.Battery life is quite impressive, which is great since mobility is one of the biggest reasons I wanted something like this.Perhaps the only thing I’m not a huge fan of is that you cannot charge it and play it at the same time. Definitely not a big enough detraction to drop its rating though.

A little tweaking needed to be perfect
I love this little guy. Only changes I've made is installed a higher quality micro SD and installed a different OS, but that's just to be picky. Honestly the system is great out of the box and has tons of games to play right away, including many titles you have heard of.

Waste
Complete waste of money. Instructions are a pain to follow if you don't have a clue. Finally got it running and no nintendo, super nintendo, and no sega games from any of the consoles and others. They weren't installed on 64 gb sd card it came with and that is the main reason I bought this thing. Heard great things. Very disappointed.

SO AWESOME AND FUN
As someone who grew up playing handheld games, this is such an awesome throwback device. It’s super cute and tiny, has great buttons, and a great screen. I really like that it comes with a screen protector and a case. It also came pre-installed with a bunch of games for various systems which is cool. You can add more if you take out the included micro SD card and plug it into your computer, then put your games into the relevant folder on the card. A lot of those old classic games make so much sense on this little thing and it’s very pocketable making it a very fun thing to have.

A retrogamer's dream
Been playing my old childhood games on Sega genesis and SNES. They work a lot better than playing them on the PC. It's been a pleasure to play since the miyoo's controls are pretty responsive and feels like a solid gamepad, not like those random cheap 300 in 1 lcd game systems. Battery life is quite high. I think I got like 6-7 hours on it before needing a recharge. The included OS is good, but you'll probably want to install Onion OS when you get a chance.

What an awesome device
I really love everything about this handheld game console. I can play a variety of 80's and 90's consoles on this device while on the go. I've tried doing this on mobile, but having physical buttons is a huge difference. Of course you could use a bluetooth gampad controller with your phone but then it's not really compact, plus the emulators and games are more difficult to organize. The Miyoo Mini uses and SD card to hold your ROMs. It comes stock with a Linux based OS but the Onion OS upgrade is really worth it. It transforms the user experience. The battery lasts for hours and is rechargeable using a USB-C connection. The buttons feel solid and like they will last. The screen is very clear and bright. Only downside is if you have larger hands this might feel kind of awkward to hold.

Perfect for travel
This pocket game system was great especially if you are a 90’s kid. Really nostalgic being able to play so many games from my childhood. I just took a 14 hour flight and this thing was amazing to help me kill time since it was already loaded so with so many games. Build quality is great and games played seamlessly with no lag or interface issues. Money well spent!

Incredible handheld retro gaming console
This handheld retro gaming console is incredible. This is the 3rd retro console I've bought and it runs all the DOS and PS1 games I wanted to play, through RetroArch. I see other reviews that suggest you should switch the cheap SD that comes with this (as it will eventually fail and is low speed) and install Onion OS right away (supposedly better performance and compatibility with more games), but everything is working great off-the-shelf. I've made a copy of the SD card (just in case) but will continue using the original OS and SD card, performance on the games is great, so let's see how long the SD card lasts.

Hard to believe it's real!
What an incredible little product. Honestly, it kind of boggles the mind that it even exists, let alone that it's *this* great out of the box. I booted it up and within minutes was playing some of my favourite games from my childhood. That said, I did a little research online and quickly learned how to update the operating system (which you should do), that the included micro SD card isn't going to be super reliable so I replaced it with a higher quality one from SanDisk (you should also do this), and then found out about "Done Set" to get a set of beautifully organized ROMS (though, again, the set that ships with the console its remarkably comprehensive). I love the fit and finish of this thing too - though I'd prefer the white colour, beggars can't be choosers.Honestly it's tough to find any real faults with this thing. It's without question my favourite thing I've ever got through the Vine program and cannot recommend it highly enough!

Ultimate Retro Gaming Experience
The Miyoo Mini Plus is the perfect handheld for retro gaming enthusiasts. The 3.5" HD display is vibrant and clear, making my favorite classic games look great. Flashing it with the new Onion OS was straightforward and significantly improved the performance, especially for SNES and NES games, which now run smoothly and without any issues. The included storage case is a nice touch for keeping everything organized and protected. It's compact, portable, and provides an authentic gaming experience on the go. Highly recommend for anyone who loves retro gaming!

Amazing gift for retro fans!
I requested this product for my husband -- a total fanatic for all things retro, especially those that remind him of his childhood. Much to my surprise, I fell into the trap and was hooked while I was meant to be testing it out before presenting him with it. Classic games like Double Dragon, Battletoads, Zelda, Tetris, and Pac-Man brought me back decades!!The game console arrived within 2 days of being ordered. It came well-packaged and in giftable condition, no damage. There is an instruction manual that comes with the console. The functions inside the menu are not intuitive, but the manual explains them well enough and once you figure it out, it's easy to navigate. There are literally thousands of games and anyone who grew up in the 70s, 80s, and 90s is bound to be satisifed. The screen protector is not a perfect fit for the actual screen itself, but not a huge deal. The carrying case is easy to open and close, and the console is the perfect size for my hands. Might be a bit small on a larger male though.Overall, my husband really likes this console. Definitely brought a smile to his face. If you can get it on sale ($75 or so), the nostalgia alone would be worth the price.
