Very attractive price adapters from Amazon. However, each adaper in the batch I received were a very loose fit on my Macbook Pro. Unfortunately the adapter will jiggle causing an in use external hard-drive to disconnect. Experienced a very catastrophic unrecoverable situation when the disconnect occurred during the process of making a TimeMachine backup for my Macbook Pro. Adapters are marginally useable, one must exert extreme care when using these cheap adapters. These adapters are Not Recommended.

They work well enough over all, but I found that they are bit flakey when connecting to my 2019 Macbook Pro. I use these adapters to convert the USB-A -> USB 3.0 cable for my portable hard drive into a USB-C -> USB 3.0 cable. Other USB-C cables are fine in my laptop, but these adapters regularly loose connectivity to the computer when the cord or drive it jostled in the slighted. This, of course, leads to improperly mounted drive. Boo.

This set of 8 usb-A to usb-c convertors is probably the best (if not then one of) value packs of convertors out there! You absolutely cannot beat the price nor the quality. Unlike the majority of convertors out there that are just plastic, these are actually made with a metal casing which drastically improves their durability. I have been using them everyday for 6 or 7 weeks and I have not had a single one of them break. This sit really well and snug inside the ports on the side of my computer but are not too difficult to pull out. I highly recommend!!

These are tough and they work but they are too short and rigid which is causing the ports on my MacBook Pro to get loose as the cable moves around and torques against the USB-C port. I'm switching to the ones with a small cable jumper between the USB-C and A adapter, those don't cause this issue.

So the first batch came incorrect. I was sent USB c to USB micro A. The first problem was the description mention USB A (regular size). So I sent it back. The second Bach that came in was a load of whistles. Lol. Thanks for the prank guys but seriously. They seem to be playing a joke or who ever is packaging these things clearly can't read or do not care. Now, I don't leave reviews but this could either be funny or kind of stealing concidering every person buying gets taken for about 8 dollars per pack. That could lead to guite a bit. Eventually they sell a product that is a joke. But hey. Jokes on me. Just be cautious on this one especially if you're trying to save.

This works but if you jiggle the cable, the hard-drive disconnects. Needs to fit more snuggly into the plug. Can’t beat the price, though.

I had ordered a 2 pack of these adapters, and they were more expensive and better quality. However, these were very inexpensive and getting the job done. It’s good to have extras in my briefcase. I have only had them a short time, so the question of how they will hold up has not yet been answered.

They work but they are not made for constant use of physically connecting and disconnecting. The outside casing USB male that inserts became dislodged but still worked without the shell. For the price and amount adapters you get is worth it. Recommend.
