Pamper your cat!
My cat doesn’t seem to mind when I apply this ointment while massaging her paws. I find that it keeps her paws soft and moisturized. I sometimes will apply some ointment around her ears and on her nose to prevent dryness, especially during the cold winter months when the air inside becomes dry because of the heat. The consistency is thick and reminds me of a creamy lip balm. It absorbs into my cat’s paws without leaving them sticky or greasy. It has a fresh and pleasant scent. I love the design of the tin case and how the lid easily slides down which prevents it from becoming lost. Great product!

Gets Rough Paw Pads Back in Shape
I volunteer at a shelter where we see dogs and cats come in sometimes in pretty rough shape. One constant with every animal that's been living outside for any length of time is the dry and sometimes cracked condition of their paw pads. I brought this balm along on one of my shifts and we tried it out on the sore paws of dogs and cats who'd been socialized to human handling. After a few days we noticed the paw pads were healing and getting softer. We could see it would make a difference with regular application, so the shelter decided to keep using it. It's so inexpensive that I can buy a few tins and donate them every now and then so they don't run out. Great product.

Pleasant scent, convenient container
My cats’ paw pads seem to be in pretty good shape but can get a little dry sometimes. They don’t really like me touching their paws for any reason, so this is a little tricky to apply (it’s best to do it when they’re sleepy). I tried a little on their noses as well. The smell is pleasant and light and the cats don’t seem to mind (they don’t try to lick it off right away, and in fact if they notice another cat has some on, they will run over to smell). I did notice that the green tint slightly stained the white fur of one cat where I missed the paw pads because he was squirming. The container is convenient and easy to open/close.

Pet safe paw balm
Great quality, smell and performance. Nice size for all sizes of dogs and cats, easy to use product. Performed well on our large dog, who's paws get very dry and helped her walk more comfortably. I think this will be tremendously helpful to dogs who live in cold winter climates, as dry paw pads the rest of the year are prone to severe cracking in subzero weather. Use this paw balm year round for best results.

Paw Butter
When we first rescued our kitten, his paws had been burnt from the hot concrete he had been subjected to. The burns healed but left his paws very dry. Finding this paw balm was just what he needed. Where before his toe beans were dry and cracked, they are now soft and supple. This paw balm is fantastic! It has a pleasant smell that neither cat seems to mind and is made from natural plant-based ingredients. Having products with more natural ingredients than synthetics was an important factor in choosing to use this paw balm. You only need to use a small amount - a little goes a long way! It is not greasy and spreads nicely. While the company recommends using their paw balm a few times a day, I use it a few days a week and it seems to keep his toe pads feeling super soft! Great product!

Odd smell, doesn’t work, and ruined rug.
I was testing another balm in the previous month and didn’t notice any improvement. I’m hoping this one makes a difference. So far the only difference is the smell. It’s not as pleasant. It’s not bad, but it is noticeable and not something I enjoy. Also, the tin requires sliding to open and close, so it is more secure than other options may be, in case that’s of concern to anyone... although I’ve found it more difficult to put back on so I just leave it on top without securing. Will update if anything changes.Update - I can’t get over the smell. Throwing it away. It reminds me of the cheap lotion they use at foot reflexology places. I don’t trust the ingredients and prefer to be safe.Been using it at least 4 times a day before walks for about a week on my Chinese crested’s front paws and maybe there is a slight improvement. Will use it up and update if there are any changes.Update after a couple of weeks... it may be helpful, but it's not noticeable if so. It's a good habit to check her pads several times a day, so at least this has got her comfortable with that and she doesn't mind the application. It’s been a month since I ordered and started using this balm at least 3 times a day, usually 4. I haven’t seen any changes. My pups paws still have rough and sharp spots. Vet isn’t concerned and advised me not to use a pumice stone on them. Will try other balms for my pup to help smooth her paws out. Also, I’m not happy her white fur gets a lot dirtier now around her feet because the balm makes dirt stick more and much harder to clean off with wipes and baths. It does have a nice scent, compared to other similar products I’ve tested.Lastly, and very important to know. This ruined my entry carpet. I put it on my pup's paws before walks and now the entry carpet has dark spots all over with paw prints. It’s oily so I haven’t been able to get it out. I have hardwood floors so I can’t put this on her to wear around at home and I don’t want to put this on her outside after her feet get dirty.I wish this had been a more positive experience, but I can’t recommend this product at all.

Helped cracked paws
One of my cats was getting cracking on his paw pad and so I trimmed his paw hair then put this balm on him. It made is pads immediately better, they looked better and were soft to the touch. He seemed to like the balm as well and allowed me to rub it into his pads. The smell of it was very light and fresh, almost having none at all.
