The Mighty Boosh: Live - Future Sailors Tour [DVD]

Some of the material is a slight remix of stuff that any fan will have heard before. But overall this is definitely worth checking out. Maybe rent rather than buy though (depending on price difference, obviously).

This is of incredible value, the box its self is massive perfect for a shelf, then inside you get a metallic belt buckle (made in England) along with a pack of top-trumps style cards. Then the main thing is the DVD, this comes on 4 discs in total including bonus features and the like. The tin is metal with an embossed logo on the top. The actual DVD its self is amazing, many had said it's not really that good. But even though it's not as good as the first one it's still amazing and very enjoyable.

I have been a Boosh fan for a very long time now, having watched the first live dvd and all 3 season,the book and cd..i have to say that i have really enjoyed this dvd a whole lot.True, some of the things are seem to be repetitive, but overall i think it is a truly entertaining DVD to spend watching on a Friday night with friends.And in my view it is much better then the first live DVD, but that is my opinion. :D

I absolutely adore the boosh television show and to be honest i was afraid i wouldnt like the live shows as much but there even better! I love both shows but i particularly like the 2006 show and the bonus features for this are far better. The future sailors tour is alot more polished and theatrical but still maganges to stay 'boosh. If you enjoy the television show i would definitley recommened the live show.

I love the mighty boost, buy it uncensored, before the woke and PC brigade get near it.

The live show itself isn't bad if you're a Boosh fan (and I assume that only existing fans will be getting this edition). But no surprises - a lot of sketches and a few songs (I remember the band playing a lot more when I saw them at Wembley though), rather than a completely new Boosh story.But the Limited Edition is simply not worth the extra money. You get a four disc edition of the DVD, but it's really a two disc version of the 2008 tour and he other two discs are the last Live Boosh DVD (2006), so most of the people buying this one will already have them already.The extras from the 2008 tour are not worth bothering with unless you are desperate to own everything they have ever released on DVD - a fairly shoddy behind the scenes/on tour film and some bits and pieces that don't add up to much.You also get a pack of Outrage cards (Boosh Top Trumps), a Boosh Belt Buckle, and a tin with the DVDs in it. All quite good in themselves, but all destined to remain in the pack once you've had a look at them once.For content, stick with the single disc standard edition - you aren't missing much. The non-DVD elements are quite good but the DVD itself simply smacks of a complete lack of effort. An exercise in style over substance, and taking advantage of the loyalty of Boosh fans to generate as much money as possible.

It's the Boosh. Why wouldn't it be amazing? What else can I say. I'm in LOVE with The Mighty Boosh, so I LOVE the dvds. And of course I love the little extra goodies. I'm a little confused as to why there isn't any instructions on how to play the card game, but I search the internet for ideas on how to use them, so it's okay. Overall, like I said, AMAZING!!

I love The Mighty Boosh. As a USA resident, I have been able to get the 3 seasons of the TV show on DVD in US format, but not the other Boosh DVD offerings. So I treated myself to an all-region DVD player. The Boosh's Future Sailors Tour alone is well worth the cost of the all-region player. This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. The caveat is that (in my opinion) you need to already be a Mighty Boosh fan in order to completely get it. (So enjoy yourself with the 3 seasons of the TV show first. You're welcome!)This is a must for every true Boosh fan.

... leider kann Future Sailors (wie schon Season 3 der Fernsehserie) nicht so ganz mit den vorherigen Sachen (allen voran The Mighty Boosh Live) nicht mithalten. Das war ein wenig enttäuschend. Wo vorher noch skurrile Ideen, extrem schräge Charaktere und jede Menge Ausbrüche aus dem Skript standen, wirkt Future Sailors leider an vielen Stellen repetitiv, ein wenig in sich selbst gefangen und auch etwas lustlos.Wer noch keine Boosh-Live DVD besitzt, sollte sich The Mighty Boosh Live zulegen. Wer das schon hat, sollte sich Future Sailors höchstens zur Komplettierung der Sammlung holen und nicht all zu viel erwarten ... denn alles was genial an Barratt & Fieldings Anaracho-Psychedelic-Punkrock-Show ist, findet man besser, schöner & abgedrehter auf der ersten Live-DVD.3 Sterne weil es trotzdem noch The Mighty Boosh sind, und das macht schon einiges her ...

Yeah, okay.This show was slightly (completely and utterly) insane. Just about my favourite thing ever. With references to the series and all new material, this made me laugh so hard that I had stomach pains for about a day after watching it for the first time. It can be watched over and over, and it never stops being brilliant.

Haaa, je viens de le recevoir, et c'est de toute beauté! :DLa boite fait un peu plus de 30cm, contient un set de cartes avec tous les personnages de la série, une boîte en metal ronde contenant les quatres cds, et... une sorte de pins en metal ? Pas trop compris. Bref, bel ouvrage! :DJe le conseille à tous les fans!
