Love this blanket. 10lbs isnt too heavy, which is nice. The pink is pretty. The sherpa side keeps me warm! My husband has us keep a cold house at night, this helps keep me warm with a little weight. Also, been washing on gentle cycle, cold water - drying on low heat… been holding up great… buy it!

I had gotten a 15lbs weighted queen size blanket from Costco in the past as my daughter really wanted to try it to help her sleep, but she claimed it was too heavy after a few nights, so it is now sitting in the closet. This blanket is not as heavy, but has some heft - not too much so is much more usable than the heavily weighted blanket sitting in the closet :)Just be aware that not everyone likes the sensation of something heavy on them, so start with a lighter weighted blanket and work your way up as needed.

I never had a weighted blanket before, but heard great things about the sleep it'd bring. I saw the opportunity to give this one a try, and jumped at the opportunity. So far, I'm really happy with the results, even if I wish I'd sized up!Pros: Comfort and heft combine for a really relaxing, secure nights sleep. I got the weighted blanket as I'd heard it helps with a deeper nights sleep, and between the weight and the feel, I'm waking up comfortably well-rested.Cons: From what I've read, blankets can have either poly plastic beads, or smaller glass beads filling the quilted pockets that add the weight. From the feel of this, I'd assume the beads are indeed plastic as the "grain" feels a bit coarse. That's the only real potential drawback I'd mention, but that's if I had to come up with a drawback.I haven't yet washed this blanket, so I can't attest to how its texture will change over time. The fact that one side is a kind of napped fabric leads me to conclude it might need some special consideration in cleaning, so I'll update this review accordingly once that time arrives. But until then, I am really loving this blanket. Like, noticeable quality-of-life improvement-level loving it.

I love this blanket it’s more of a lap blanket as it’s not very big though I wanted it for when I’m at work and it’s perfect to keep my legs warm as well as to calm me. I think the weight I got is just right and not too heavy.

I got this blanket as a gift for my granddaughter, who just turned 16. She has autism, and one of the ways it manifests is a high degree of anxiety, especially at night. She must sleep with every light turned on, and her door open, to feel secure. I read that a weighted blanket can really help with night time anxiety in kids with autism, so thought I would let her try it. The blanket seems well made, and is very soft, especially on the sherpa side. Pink is her favorite color, and this nice shade goes perfectly in her room. The size and the 10 lb. weight are perfect for her, too. I prewashed and dried the blanket, which turned out perfectly. So far, she really loves this blanket, and has slept with it every night. Only time will tell if it might be a partial solution to her night time anxiety and insecurity, but her mom says she has slept soundly each night since she got it, and that is a very big deal for her and her family. Bonus: her cat also loves the blanket, which makes her very happy. This was a great gift for her.

I really like weighted blankets! It helps calm me and is very warm. It’s actually just the right size for one person, I use it on the couch or as a lap blanket. The Sherpa fleece on the under side is very soft. I’d definitely recommend the blanket, my only complaint is the price. It’s slightly high for the size.
