When I first opened this jar I thought it was going to be far too thick, and as I have an oily skin I worried that I would never be able to get it off my skin and that it would feel oily afterwards.The first time I used it I put on far too much, and it was difficult to get off, so having learned from my experience, the next time I used just a very small amount and massaged it into my skin. As soon as you put it on it 'melts' and is very easy to glide over all your make up. I am very impressed at how easily my make up was removed and when I used a muslin cloth and warm water to take it off, it brought all the make up off and didn't leave any residue.The thick cleanser soon turns to an oily texture on your skin and so it doesn't feel at all like it is going to block my pores, like other cleaners. Once I have rinsed it off with a cloth, and then rinsed my face in clean water, my skin feels clean and refreshed.This pot is going to last me a very long time as you only need a tiny amount for it to be effective. If you use too much, like I did at first, your skin may feel 'greasy' but the small amount is all you need. This is more expensive than my usual cleanser, but I have a feeling it may work out more economical in the end because of the tiny amount needed. Time will tell!

This cleanser feels really lovely, with a light scent and a gentle, nourishing balm consistency. I removed it with a hot muslin cloth as recommended, and my skin was left soft and glowing, without too much of a residue. I really like this.

I’m quite pleased with this carrot butter cleanser, as it deeply cleanses the skin and is supposed to have antioxidant properties, which is a great bonus. It contains carrot, rosemary, and calendula extracts and feels like a high-quality product. The tub is lovely, with a good expiry date of almost two years, and holds 50 ml.The cleanser is quite solid at the moment—possibly due to the colder UK weather—but it melts beautifully upon contact with the skin. While I didn’t particularly enjoy the scent, especially the mix with rosemary when first opened, it fades as the product warms in the hands. Applied to dry skin and massaged in, it removes makeup effortlessly, especially as I have used it with the same brand’s muslin cloth.Overall, it’s a gentle yet effective cleanser, perfect for sensitive skin.

This is a luxurious cleansing balm which i like to use as part of a double cleanse. You get 50g in a screw top plastic jar and I love the fact that the cleanser is enriched with carrot, calendula and rosemary. It does an excellent job at removing residual make up and since I go in with a more purifying cleanser afterwards I cannot detect any greasy residue. The scent is also very nice. Great cleanser for everyday use.

This lovely cleansing balm is made by The Organic Pharmacy and contains 99% organic ingredients including carrot, calendula and rosemary. It has antioxidant properties and is good for stressed out skin as it reduces inflammation and aids decongestion.The cleanser comes in a 50ml tub and although orange in colour I was relieved to find that it did not smell like carrots! The fragrance is actually Jasmine which is pleasant. The texture is quite solid, which is common with a lot of cleansing balms, but once applied it melts into your skin. You do not need to use much and less is definitely more! It is very effective at removing make up and gives the skin a really clean feel. It is a good idea to clip your hair back or wear a hair band, especially if you have long hair and/or a fringe, as otherwise it gets in your hair - although that might just be me!I think this is definitely a good quality cleansing balm and I like that it is an organic product. It is quite expensive but, as a little goes a long way, hopefully it will last quite a while. It is definitely something that I would get again.

I have used butter cleansers before, but this one feels a lot thicker than previous ones I’ve tried. You absolutely need a cloth to fully remove after using it, which it even says on the box you have to do. I would personally prefer it was less thick, but if you wear a lot of heavy makeup, this would be good for removing it.The cleanser has a gentle fragrance, and it seems to last a long time as you only need a bit for the whole face. My daughter tried it as well and it didn’t seem to upset her sensitive skin in any way, which is a plus.

I’ve been searching everywhere for a cleansing balm that will melt away my makeup with minimal effort. I’ve tried many different brands and can say for certain I’ve never seen a cleaning balm work as fast as this one. I really like the consistency which after massaging transforms to oil. Within seconds it lifts everything off and my skin feels soft and clean after using it.I suffer from sensitive skin and it’s so gentle on my face. It removes even stubborn mascara without any tugging or pulling and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I’ve had no reactions or breakouts, defo adding this to my skincare routine.Overall, this cleansing balm is a solid choice for those seeking a gentle and effective cleanser. It removes makeup well and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple.

This is a nice product to use with a lovely warm earthy smell. You put this on the skin and rub gently to dissolve any makeup then you remove it with water and another water-based cleanser. That's the bit I find annoying that you need another cleanser to remove the first cleanser. My thinking is that maybe this has been designed especially for those foundations that don't budge for 24 hours. I don't use those so you'll need to be your own judge of that.Definitely does have the look and feel of a luxury product but in terms of Value I find it annoying that you need to use two cleansers with this.It's very gentle and did not cause any irritation to my skin.In my opinion this is expensive for a cleanser.
