They arrived early by a few days which was nice but-UPDATE: these are NOT moss! They are a kind of algae! My tank never had algae until I put these in it and I had an explosion of algae! They are also high maintenance- you have to keep turning them or they turn brown and if they don’t get actual sun light (I have a plant growing light!) they also turn brown. I took them out of my tank and never put them back in - I had to do a complete tank change - I do NOT recommend these!

Moss balls arrived green in plastic container. Happy with purchase. No instructions on best way to introduce to aquarium. I realize this is a no brainer to a point. Rinse well. Put in aquarium. But if there is anyway to introduce to aquarium that would give a higher percentage rate that moss won't die in a week it would be nice to know. Just my opinion.

They were fairly squished on arrival, which is strange since they were kept in a plastic box. Since a week after putting them in the tank, they turned brown/yellow and have stayed that way. It has been about a month or longer.

The moss is healthy and pretty long, at least for moss. I might use some fishing line and suspend these for the shrimp to climb on, only because most of my aquarium is planted, they'll catch debris for my shrimp and help reduce nitrates no matter where they are in the tank.These were packed in a small hard plastic case, still damp though there is one small brownish spot and a ripped tuft here and there, but since these were shipped by snail mail, not Amazon that's fantastic results.Quality product, quality shipping, Shrimp approved.

They turned my whole aquarium rust colored, which turned black dangerously fast. Never had a problem before! Don't do it!

Mine was moldy

My live moss pebbles came. They were completely dry in a hinged non-waterproof plastic square case, but bright green. I added them to my tank, but are they really alive or artificial? Seems odd that they would arrive so green, yet have been in the packaging for almost a week and be bone dry.

These took three weeks to receive. Will try to give some tlc and hopefully they’re not too far gone.The size was good and probably shipped in good condition, but three weeks is too long out of the water.
