I ordered this workpro jab saw to aid me with the installation of a new double socket in a plasterboard wall.As well as being nice and comfortable to hold it easily cut through the plasterboard.I also used it to cut through cardboard as I quite often have many boxes to dispose of.

As the description indicates, this is a wicked drywall saw with a nice deluxe pumpkin-carving-tool handle on it. I've got large hands and this is very comfortable for me to hold. My wife has smaller hands and it's also comfy for her to wield.I've tried to get a good photo of the blade here. It's about 1/8" thick and has alternating teeth so that it really chews out all the pumpkin (or all the drywall) the entire thickness of the blade, which makes it go VERY quickly and smoothly. This is NOT a flexible blade, you're not going to bend it while trying to carve the top off of even the thickest-walled, most stubborn pumpkin you've ever Jack-'o-lanterened in your life. I usually use a power jigsaw and power drill to prep my pumpkins but the face itself is still carved by hand, and this is going to be the absolute easiest that has ever been. (Curves are not the easiest thing with this blade, but for the straight-away stuff you are going to LOVE this thing!)Just try not to cut yourself. It's seriously sharp and easy to use. Just be certain you're using it on your pumpkin and not on the hand you're using to hold the pumpkin steady. Gloves will be a REALLY good idea here - gardening gloves, work gloves, anything that gives a good grip and good protection.I can't wait to start carving! Is it the end of October yet?

I dont think I was expecting this to be a Halloween themed drywall punch saw.... cuts through pumpkins like butter, and drywall with ease. Great for actual use or as a gag gift

I wanted a more solid solution for pumpkin carving this year. There is nothing worse than breaking the carving knife halfway through. So, I decided to give this a try. Let me just say...this saw could cut a small tree down and be ready for more. It's solid and sharp!! It does remind me of a halloween-decorated drywall saw, but even then it feels way more sturdy. I don't think I'll ever have to buy another carving saw. Every. I could not be more pleased! Well worth every penny!
