Works as it should.
Works very well. It holds the oversized rolls we buy. It came with a spring rod. Other reviews said it does not and a large roll won't fit. The large roll fits but touches the lid when closed. It works though. The spring rod and roll are a little hard to put in because it's a tight fit but thats okay. It came with two sets of sticky mounts and a set of screws so there's two ways of mounting. The sticky mounts are what I used. There's a total of 4 stickers. You use two to mount it. These are not what they show in the add. They have to overlap bone another when stuck to the wall. Make sure you get it straight when you touch the wall. They are very sticky. They don't let the holder set flush on the wall. It sticks out a little. About 3/16ths of an inch. 3 mm. The cap nuts that screw on the studs that stick out of the sticky mounts almost aren't big enough to hold the unit on. The holes are bigger than the nut. I went and found a couple of small washers and it works great now. The holes are slotted so you can adjust it for level and straightness. I used my fingernail to make sure the sticky mounts were stuck securely to the painted drywall and it held right away. They will pull the paint off the drywall if you try to remove them. The paper, when loaded over the top coming forward, comes out the front of the bottom of the door. There's no hole in the bottom. As I said it works great. We bought two. Both were the same with the same hardware for each. I'm happy with the product.

Finally, an almost totally catproof paper holder
For our 1 year old cat, TP rolls are the best toys ever. His eyes light up when he sees them! So we were looking for a catproof, fully covered paper holder.Such holders are more common than you'd expect, though not so much in the US. They're standard issue in Asia, where showers often aren't separated from the rest of the bathroom. They need covers to keep the paper dry.Amazon has lots of choices, but most of them are made from thin sheet metal. Reviewers complain that the metal cuts fingers. Plastic sounded safer. However, many plastic holders attach with suction cups, which wouldn't work for us. One screw-mounted ABS holder, the Oceanair Marine Dryroll Protective Toilet Roll Dispenser, looks like a top quality product. It's recessed, though, so I'd have to cut a hole in the wall to install it. No can do.This surface-mount plastic paper holder is the winner. It keeps the paper safe from kitty, but convenient for us. When the blue lid is down, the entire roll is fully enclosed and protected.Be careful, though. If you close it with any paper still hanging out (like you see in the Amazon photos), I guarantee that your mighty hunter will engage. Good bet you'll return to an empty roll and a TP-covered floor. This holder isn't exactly the height of powder room fashion, but it's not bad looking either. The plastic is surprisingly thick and heavy. It holds a full 1000 sheet roll of Scott paper. The only downside I've found is that the slots that the spring-loaded spindle fits into are shallow, and not easy to find when I'm loading a new roll. The plastic is slippery, so the spindle skids around without snapping into place. It often takes some tinkering. Sometimes I have to get down on the floor, level with the holder, to peer in and find the slots. As I write this, several different Amazon sellers ship this Chinese-made item, all from Asia. Ours came from SingyaBRA. The packaging was minimal. Fortunately, the holder wasn't damaged. Shipping took about a month.

A simple, basic water repelling toilet paper dispenser
I bought this toilet paper dispenser to go in the wet bath of my RV. Space is very limited, so I did not want a large dispenser with all of the bells and whistles many of the other products boasted. I wanted a basic toilet paper dispenser that was basically water proof. This dispenser is made of what appears to be a sturdy plastic. Construction is very simple. Essentially 3 pieces. The base, the cover and the spring loaded roller that holds the toilet paper. The dispenser comes with the necessary materials to fasten the dispenser to a wall with screws or to use double stick tape for mounting. When mounting directly to the wall using the provided screws and plaster board inserts, the installation should go smoothly and without any problems. The back of the dispenser is completely flat. This would allow one to use their own double stick tape as well. The dispenser comes with two double stick plastic fittings that have screws embedded in the plastic. The problem with the manufacturer provided double stick mounts is that in order to hold the mounting screws in the mounts, a small portion of the mounts are approximately 3/8 inch think. The mounting pieces themselves are approximately 1-1/2 inches square. The problem with these mounts is that since the back of the dispenser is completely flat, these mounts force the dispenser out from the wall the thickness of the mounts. This creates an unstable and somewhat wobbly dispenser on the wall. To rectify this problem, I used 4 each 1/4 inch thick felt self adhesive pads on the four corners of the back of the dispenser. This thoroughly stabilized the dispenser against the wall. The second problem I encountered during installation, is that the nuts provided to fasten the dispenser using the self adhesive mounts, were very small and barely covered the slots in the back of the dispenser when fastening the dispenser to the self stick mounts. I added some very small washers to address this problem. The installation completed with those modifications is very solid. When ever using any kind of double stick tape to mount anything, it is extremely important to ensure you thoroughly and completely clean the surface areas where the tape will be used. I use 91 percent rubbing alcohol. However any cleaning agent that will remove all grease, oil and dirt should work. I use a clean dry rag after cleaning to further ensure there are no contaminants to interfere with the self stick adhesive doing its job.One final comment about a potential for failure of the dispenser in the future. The small plastic protrusions on the dispenser base which act as pivots for the cover. I suspect that in time and with use, these protrusions may break off. I already have a plan for a good repair should that happen. A portion of a coat hanger and a empty soda can.I am cautious in the use of the word "water proof" with this dispenser. In my opinion there is one minor flaw in design. It is possible for the toilet paper to get wet. There should be no problem as long as water is not directed to the hinge area of the dispenser cover.I note that in many of the reviews people are looking for pet resistant dispensers. I think this dispenser should work well unless your cat or dog is smart enough to lift the cover.Another concern I note in reviews is that people were concerned if the giant sized rolls of toilet paper would fit. Again, I don't think there should be a problem. If you are using super large rolls, the lid would not fully close down, but that would not impede the dispenser fully performing its function. I have large rolls and there is still room for even a larger sized roll.Overall, I am quite pleased with this toilet paper dispenser. It will serve my needs nicely. The installation went smoothly and I am happy with the function and look of the dispenser.

Keeps the paper dry
We mounted this in the bathroom/Shower of our Class B camper van to hold our toilet paper and keep it from getting wet when we shower. Working great so far where we have it mounted but I'm sure it also depends where you mount it, I wouldn't mount it where it gets hit directly with the shower spray.

Protects toilet paper from cats
This dispenser is easy to install. I used screws for a permanent attachment. Putting a role in it took a little time at first, but is easy now. A great product for keeping my cats from shredding the paper, and it would be great for moisture protection as well.

Works well but doesn't stay open
If you have a pet that ruins all of your toulet paper or you want a more hygienic means of storing your toilet paper in the bathroom, this works great. It's well made and the sticky part holds well so you don't have to damage anything. My only criticism is that the top doesn't stay open on its own when you're getting toilet paper out of it so the lid will sit on the top of your hand and you'll need to use both hands. If there was a mechanism that held it open, that would be better in my opinion but it's still worth buying for safety and hygiene sake.
